Tommy orchestrated a great plan in the Season 2 finale of Power: Force. He finally got his revenge for the death of Liliana on Claudia after she was locked up but is she dead? Another question that will need to be answered in Season 3 is if Mireya is dead.
Miguel found out about Tommy and her relationship and just when Tommy figured all was good, he heard Miguel’s voice on the other end of the phone. Mireya always warned Tommy that Miguel would kill the both of them if he ever found out, and maybe that’s what he did.
However, we never saw the bodies of either of them. While we did see Claudia get stabbed a few times and fall to the ground moaning and bleeding, we did not see her take her last breath. There is a good chance she survived.
As for Mireya, we did not see what Miguel did to her. While she figured he would kill her if the truth came out, Miguel is big on family. After losing his grandmother, can we see him killing the last remaining member of his family?
Did Claudia Survive The Stabbing On Power: Force
Season 3 of Power: Force will begin with Tommy on the hunt for Mireya. But with his new venture, he and Miguel will have to be careful. There was a slight twist in their new business deal but this is personal between the two.
As for Claudia, she’s the enigma here. If she is dead, then a war is coming to Tommy’s door. Before her capture, Claudia found herself in a relationship with a close friend from the past. If she gets wind that it was Tommy who killed Claudia, all hell will break loose.
Then, imagine if Claudia isn’t dead. Through her new connections, Claudia will see the light of day and with the Cartel behind her, she will want payback for the attempt on her life. Season 3 of Power: Force is shaping up to be a season of revenge which will raise the death toll in Chicago. Tommy wants his woman, Claudia wants revenge, and Miguel, he’s just out for blood for many reasons.
Did Mireya Survive
Each season of the show, there seems to be a death of an important female figure. Losing Liliana was a huge blow for Tommy but if Mireya is dead, Tommy will be on a war path. Can he keep the business and personal feelings separate or will they intertwine and cause more damage?
This has always been an Achilles Heel of his dating back to the original show. With Tommy falling for Holly and then killing her thinking she double-crossed him to what happened with Lakeshia, Tommy has always been one with mixed emotions. Losing another female figure in his life could drive him insane.
Claudia, while vital was never that important. Vic did hand over the Flynn empire before she was arrested and her teaming up with Shanti was seen as a power play for her. I can’t in all honesty see the writers giving her what she wanted just to take it away so fast.
As for Meirya, she may just end up being collateral damage and that’s something we hate to see because she was one of the good ones. But a loss is a loss and since the original Power, the shows have been better when Tommy has been focused on revenge. Seeing him in pain in the season finale was hard to watch but a pissed-off Tommy is a focused Tommy.
