With Season 6 being the last one for Power Book 2: Ghost, the question everyone has is who will survive? Much like the original, some main characters will die. Will Tariq fall? Will Cane? What about Monet and Brayden? What I can see happening is at least 2 of the main characters making it out alive.
While Ghost didn’t make it out of the original, many are expecting the same fate for his son Tariq. Cane is a hothead like Tommy but will he survive and start fresh in a new city? Brayden is a follower but does he deserve to die? What about the women of Power such as Effie, Noma, or the pregnant Diana?
Who Will Survive The Series Finale Of Power Book 2: Ghost?
Will Davis Maclean survive or die? Maclean is going to die at the hands of Cane. After sleeping with Noma, Cane will without a doubt be in his feelings. But he won’t kill Noma. His anger will be directed at Maclean. OG Power fans will take it the same way they did when Proctor died in the original Power. Some people are just too smart for their own good.
Will Effie survive or die? Effie is one of these characters you want to hate but also want to root for at times. She is shady and has only her best interests at heart. And that will likely be the reason she makes it out alive. Effie can play in any room. She has the smarts to adapt to any situation. While not regarded as a major threat to anyone, she has proven to be important to everyone. And when the dust settles, it will be Effie as one of the last 2 standing.
Will Monet Tejada survive or die? Monet taught her kids the game at a young age and they almost took her out because of it. Now she wants to change course and it may be too late. Monet has always been living on borrowed time. By far one of the shadiest people on Power Book 2. She does love her kids but them trying to kill her put fear in her she didn’t know was possible. Dru will finish the job.
Will Detective Don Carter survive or die? While new to the Power Universe, it’s clear that Detective Carter has ties to some of the original Power main characters, most notably, Ghost and Tommy. But his obsession with taking them down will end in his death. But who will be the one to take his life? before he’s done, he will take someone with him. He’s getting close to the truth and as we all know, that spells doom for anyone. Tariq will have another body on his hands. Carter is gunning for him but Tariq will have the final say.
Will Noma survive or die? When she first appeared, Noma was viewed as a badass and a top boss. However, this season, the writers have taken a bit of her moxy away. Instead of being the attacker and headstrong, they made her more reliant on the strength and protection of men. She was ruthless but now she’s scared to go into an underground club?? What happened to Noma? Her demise will come at Monet’s hands.
Will Dru Tejada survive or die? Dru is hell-bent on becoming his own man. He has a bit of hatred and jealousy for Cane since their father wanted Cane to take over the business. His hatred for his mother he proudly wears on his sleeve. While he’s close with Diana, there is some animosity there. But Dru has dealt with tons of heartache too and he acts off emotions which is a death sentence in the game. Dru may have someone’s blood on his hands but it will be his brother who takes him out.
Will Diana Tejada survive or die? The mother-to-be will be a survivor. There is no timeline for when everything will end. There could be a time jump or something. Or Diana can still have the baby in her stomach. Either way, I can’t see the writers killing her off if she is still carrying the child. No way will they leave a childless mother on Power. She wants Tariq out of the game for them to raise the child. Tariq is not ready to give it up. Diana will probably leave NYC to get away from everyone.
Will Cane Tejada survive or die? Cane is dangerous. He wants to be a boss but he’s more groomed for the streets if anything. He reacts without a second of thought and that’s the reason why he won’t make it. The person to take him out could be anybody from Tariq or Brayden to Noma or even his own family. The funny thing is, if he were to stop and think things out, he could be just as dangerous as Ghost was in the original. However, his demise will come at the hands of his nemesis Tariq.
Will Brayden Weston survive or die? Brayden is one of those characters you know has to die just because he got in over his head. He’s intelligent but he’s more of a follower than a leader. With Tariq leading the way, Brayden can do great things, but on his own, Brayden will fuck shit up. His family has disowned him and now he’s sniffing coke like Tommy used to. Not too many people have an issue with Brayden. But that doesn’t mean he lives. Somehow, before it’s all said and done, he and Effie will cross paths in which she will take him out of his misery.
Will Tariq St. Patrick survive or die? The main character is in the middle of it all. For some reason, Tariq wanted to be a gangster. While smart, a little too smart for someone his age, Tariq has managed to dodge police and other criminals, and still find a way to stay free. But like his father, it will come to a crashing end. With a child on the way and not heeding the advice of Diana, Tariq will meet his maker at the hands of his child’s mother. Yes, Diana will be the one to take Tariq out for the child’s sake.
