The Season 2 finale of Paradise not only answered some questions for its viewers but also added more layers to a complicated, yet entertaining storyline as we get ready for Season 3. Who is Alex? Well, that was answered early in the season finale, but knowing that Link was the creator was a bit surprising. Teri reuniting with her family was a great touch, but what I did love the most was seeing Gabriela take control of The Bunker when Sinatra went MIA.
However, before the credits rolled, Paradise still decided to throw us for a loop. Where did Jane’s body go? What’s the deal with Link and Xavier? Also, did Link finally accept that Sinatra is his mother? But maybe the big one of them all is that we learned that there is a 2nd Bunker at the Airport. While we were led to believe that Alex was housed possibly below the Bunker we knew, the truth is that there is a 2nd Bunker 100 miles away.
Is Jane Still Alive
In Episode 7 of Paradise, Jane finally made her move to kill Gabriela, but Gabi proved to be a step ahead. She knew Jane was watching and lured Jane into the bathroom where she was waiting. Instead of a classic fight between the two, Gabi snuck up behind Jane and stabbed her in the back. Jane fell into the shower and appeared to die.
Gabi sat in her bedroom as the camera showed Jane still in the shower, possibly dead. Once all the chaos arose in the Bunker, Gabi, taking full control since Sinatra was dealing with Alex, the camera panned back to the bathroom, but there was no Jane. What happened to her body? Did Gabi move it to cover her tracks, or did Jane get up and walk away? Season 3 will need a villain. Why not Jane?
Does Teri Know About Gabriela
It’s a question many were wondering during the 2nd season of Paradise. Would Teri find out about Xavier and Gabriela? Well, although the words were never spoken on screen, it’s clear to say that Teri knew. Following the fall of the Bunker, Gabi found Xavier outside the Temporary Camp. While they talked, Teri walked up, and Xavier introduced the two. All three had different reactions.
Xavier got his family back, so to him, he brushed everything to the side. Gabi looked a bit uneasy and hurt at the sight of Teri. However, Teri picked up on that as Xavier walked away. We know the two women had words, but did she admit to sleeping with Xavier? While nothing was said outright, it was said between the three adults. Will Teri address this in Season 3, or will she just let it go and chalk it up to the end of the world?
What Connection Does Link And Xavier Have
What’s the deal with the nosebleeds in Paradise? Link and Xavier had them the most, and when they were in proximity to one another, they got them again at the same time. However, that was never explained. The visions were still there, but were never defined. There is a strong connection between the two, and maybe it does have something to do with Baby Annie, or maybe they both encountered Alex before, or saw what happened in the past. There is definitely something strange there between the two.
Throughout the 2nd season of Paradise, Xavier had flashbacks of himself and Link. The viewers were waiting for a reason, but even in the Season 2 finale, we never got a full explanation. But then, before Xavier and Sinatra went back into the Tower to try to stop the blast, Link called Xavier over to the van, and they had a conversation that the viewers were not privy to. What exactly did Link say to Xavier in that moment?
