Robert Kraft made sure Bill Belichick Signed one of the Top Free Agents

Let’s take a step back to the off-season Bill Belichick gets rid of some of the players that talked badly about Patricia and the offense. Jakobi Meyers goes to the Raiders, Damien Harris goes to the Bills, Hoyer also going to the Raiders. Belichick signs JuJu Smith-Schuster who goes on vacation after signing his contract and 98.5 saying he hasn’t thrown with Mac Jones yet. Patriots sign Mike Gesicki and get rid of Jonnu Smith while Kraft also brought in Bill O’Brien.

During the DeAndre Hopkins visit DeVante Parker a Matt Patricia signing was displeased by bringing in Hopkins because he could’ve taken his roster spot. Instead, because Parker played ball with Belichick and didn’t talk badly about the offense last year, so he got a contract extension while losing out on Hopkins.

Robert Kraft Is The Reason Elliott Is A Patriot

Ezekiel Elliott came to visit, and Belichick wouldn’t talk about players not on the team when asked. But they obviously needed running back depth after getting rid of Harris and having Stevenson be the number one. I thought they wouldn’t sign Elliott because they weren’t going to pay a backup more than Stevenson your starter. I think Kraft stepped in and made sure that Belichick got it done either Cook or Elliott after losing out on Hopkins.

Kraft wants to make sure that Jones has everything possible to succeed even if Belichick didn’t do enough at offensive line. Having Elliott provides use for O’Brien’s quick passing game and also depth at the running back position.

Now, get ready for the sweet talking of Bill Belichick from Elliott. He will buy in and will not saying but throwing flowers to Belichick’s way. He has too if he wants to play he can’t talk about the operation last year he will just talk about how he’s focused to playing this year and helping the team win.

James White Says Bill Belichick Always Wanted Elliott On The Patriots

James White was on Siruis XM Radio talking about how much Belichick used to praise Elliott in meetings.

“I know Bill Belichick has talked about some of the best backs in the league, and I know he’s a big fan of Zeke,” White said on SiriusXM NFL Radio, as transcribed by ESPN’s Mike Reiss. “Whenever we would compete against (the Cowboys), he would always talk about how much he wanted to have him on his roster.” “Rhamondre Stevenson is going to be the lead guy, the bell cow guy, but obviously Zeke is a proven veteran,” White said. “He may not have the 1,500/1,600 rushing yards like his first few years in the league with that Dallas offensive line, but he can still be a very productive back. He’s great in the red zone, so I’m sure they’ll use him in the running game there. He’s great on third down and picking up blitzes, so I think he’ll have a huge impact when it comes to that.”

If we want to compare Harris to Elliott’s contract well here it is. Harris got a 1 year $7million contract with the Bills. Elliott got a 1 year $3million contract with the Patriots. There is a chance with incentives Elliott could earn up to $6million. So why again did the Patriots not pay Harris? Because he stood up for Mac Jones and hated Patricia as the play caller. If you play ball with Bill, he will play ball with you. Elliott will play ball with Bill even though it was Kraft that probably pushed Bill into signing him.

Elliott is expected to be in these joint practices with the Packers starting Wednesday and will probably play on Saturday.
