Luka Doncic does it again for the Mavericks

Luka Doncic hits a one-handed leaning three to win the game for the Dallas Mavericks 114-113. The shot was an unbelievable and amazing moment for Doncic. Doncic finished the game with 29 points, five rebounds, nine assists. Doncic was shooting 2-9 from the three-point range before hitting the game-winner.
Kristaps Porzingis added 21 points while Dwight Powell had 12 points to help the Mavericks win against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Grayson Allen led the Grizzles with 23 points. Allen hit six threes from beyond the arc, but despite Allen’s 23 points, he missed two free throws with 2.2 seconds left that would’ve put the game out of reach.
Allen is a 90.6% free throw shooter. His missed free throws opened the door for the Dallas Mavericks to make a play and potentially win the game.
Doncic game-winning three improved their record (30-24) which is seventh in the western conference. The Dallas Mavericks are fighting other teams in the Western Conference.
Their win against the Grizzlies last night gave them a 2 1/2 game advantage over the Grizzlies.
Both teams came out to play throughout the first half, both teams shot near 50% from the field while also taking care of the basketball with minimal turnovers.
Allen scored 17 points in the first half to help Memphis to a 60-57 lead in the first half.
Doncic, who struggled from the field in the first half, scored 14 points in the third quarter, but Memphis still managed to keep a slight lead going into the fourth quarter.
Ja Morant scored 17 points from the Grizzles and dished out 5 assists. Morant threw down a hard two-hand slam in the third quarter.
Marant didn’t shoot his best from three-point range. He shot 1-of-4 from three.
Jonas Valanciunas put up a great performance last night, scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. He was the only player to score a double-double for the Grizzlies.
Doncic couldn’t believe how he pulled it off.

” I was losing my balance, ” the 22nd- year-old said after the contest, ” I don’t know. It just- I was just surprised when it went in. I don’t know what to say, man. I don’t know.”
The Mavericks are 7-3 in its last 10 games. They’re now just one game back of the sixth-place Portland Trail Blazers.
Doncic has shown that hitting big shots is something that he has always lived up to. Last year, in the bubble against the Los Angles Clippers. Doncic hit one of the clutches shots in the playoffs.
The Mavericks are getting in a grove at the right time, and they have the talent to beat any team on any given night.
The Memphis Grizzlies are 5-3 in their last eight games. They’re also fighting to keep a playoff spot. As of right now, the Grizzlies are currently the eighth seed.
Last night, the loss against the Mavericks hurt Memphis because the race to make the playoffs is a battle.
The Mavericks host the New York Knicks on Friday.
The Grizzlies will open up a seven-game road trip on Friday in Chicago.
