Pittsburgh Steelers… A+:

The Steelers are 7-0 and could be the most complete team in the NFL. Over the past two weeks they defeated that Tennessee Titans and the Baltimore Ravens. They are 6th in the NFL, averaging 30.6 points per game. Their defense only giving up 68 rushing yards per game and as is 2nd allowing 315 total yards per game. This defense could be the best in the entire league.

Baltimore Ravens…B-:

The Ravens are ranked 1st in rushing offense but 31st in passing yards. Teams are starting to figure out Lamar Jackson. Defenses are putting eight in the box and making Jackson throw from the pocket. Their defense was ranked 1st, only giving up 17 points per game before their loss to the Steelers. If this team does not get a passing game, they will not make a deep playoff run.

Cleveland Browns…C:

The Browns are 5-3 and they should make the playoffs. The problem they will have is Baker Mayfield is the 4th best quarterback in their division. This team is a work in progress and Kevin Stefanski appears to be the right hire as head coach.

Cincinnati Bengals…C:

Joe Burrow has this team competing every week. The Rookie of the Year will be between Burrow and Justin Herbert. This team has a ton of holes to fill this off-season, but Burrow is the real deal and a playmaker at the quarterback position.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers…A:

The Bucs have won 5 out of their last 6 games. Their defense is ranked 1st against the run. They are only giving up 66 rushing yards per game. Tom Brady has now taken command of this offense and he is having an MVP-like season. He has 20 touchdown passes and only 4 interceptions.

New Orleans Saints…B:

The Saints have won 4 in a row, mostly without their star wide receiver, Michael Thomas. We will know more over the next few weeks when they play Tampa and San Francisco in back-t0-back weeks.

Carolina Panthers… C-:

The Panthers have had a roller coaster ride of a season. They lost their first 2 games, won 3 in a row and half lost their last 3 games. This was a rebuilding year for Carolina. They should get Christian McCaffrey back next week and that should help their offense. The Las Vegas line had this team winning 5 games. I think they surpass that. They are moving in the right direction.

Atlanta Falcons…D:

The Falcons haven’t recovered since their Super Bowl loss to the Patriots in 2016. Atlanta should be sellers at the trading deadline. It is time to break this team down and start over.
