*This mock draft does contain trades
1st: Cardinals: Kyler Murray (QB) (Oklahoma)
It seems the Cardinals are willing to move on from Rosen and start over with Murray
2nd: 49ers: Nick Bosa (Edge) (Ohio State)
Clear, easy pick, Bosa is the best player in the draft
3rd: Jets: Josh Allen (Edge) (Kentucky)
Extremely fast off the ball and high football IQ and Jets get a future pro bowl player
4th: Raiders: Quninnen Williams (DL) (Alabama)
Raiders need a defensive presence, and Williams fills that, though they still need a lot more talent on that side of the ball
5th: Buccaneers: Devin White (LB) (LSU)
Bucs need an O lineman but can’t pass up on White, the best LB in the draft
6th: Giants: Dwayne Haskins (QB) (Ohio State)
Wouldn’t be surprised if they have to move up to get Haskins, but right now I don’t see a team that will actually jump in front of them.
7th: Jaguars: Andre Dillard (OT) (Washington State)
Wouldn’t be surprised if they take Jawann Taylor, both are going to be a fantastic O lineman, but I like Dillard more
8th: Lions: Rashan Gary (DL) (Michigan)
Gary’s production was left to be desired on the stat sheet but shows plenty of potential
9th: Redskins (trade w/ Bills): Drew Lock (QB) (Missouri)
Skins move up to be safe and grab their QB of the future
10th: Broncos: T.J. Hockenson (TE) (Iowa)
Hockenson shows a lot of potential and is by far the best TE in the draft. Elway gets Flacco an immediate offensive weapon that can catch and block.
11th: Bengals: Devin Bush (LB) (Michigan)
Bush gives the Bengals a defensive presence they desperately need
12th: Packers: Noah Fant (TE) (Iowa)
The difficult pick here, they could go Edge or DT here, but the Packers want to give Rodgers a legitimate receiving threat outside of Adams.
13th: Dolphins: Jonah Willimas (OG) (Alabama)
Willimas can play inside at guard which is a need for the Dolphins.
14th: Falcons: Ed Oliver (DL) (Houston)
I like Oliver a lot, and the Falcons get a great duo in Oliver and Grady Jarrett
15th: Bills (from Redskins): DK Metcalf (WR) (Ole Miss)
A match made in heaven, Josh Allen gets a big WR that matches his cannon of an arm
16th: Texans (trade w/ Panthers): Jawann Taylor (OT) (Flordia)
Texans trade up to take a great OT and finally get Watson much-needed protection
17th: Giants: Clenin Ferrell (DL) (Clemson)
After getting their QB of the future, they need to go get a defensive player, and Ferrell is a steal at 17
18th: Vikings: Cody Ford (OT) (Oklahoma)
Vikings need to address O line after investing all that money into Cousins
19th: Titans: Christian Wilkins (DT) (Clemson)
Wilkins is one of my favorite players in this draft, smart and hardworking and the stat sheet shows how productive he can be
20th: Steelers: Greedy Williams (CB) (LSU)
The best CB in the draft falls into the Steelers lap, and they can’t pass him up
21st: Seahawks: Montez Sweat (Edge) (Mississippi State)
Most people have Sweat as a top 10 pick, but I believe he falls due to his heart condition. Not sure how serious it is so for right now he drops to 21. Maurice Hurst had a very similar problem last year and went from a potential first rounder and fell to the fifth round
22nd: Ravens: Brain Burns (DE/Edge) (Flordia State)
After watching Mosely and Suggs sign elsewhere, the Ravens need a defensive presence, and they hope Burns can fill that
23rd: Panthers (from Texans): Garrett Bradbury (Center) (N.C. State)
Tough pick here, wouldn’t be surprised if they take Greg Little (OT), but Bradbury is one of the best interior lineman in the draft, and the Panthers need to address the O line for Cam’s health
24th: Eagles (trade w/ Raiders): Josh Jacobs (RB) (Alabama)
Eagles trade up in fear of Raiders taking Jacobs and finally land a much needed RB
Update: Eagles have traded for Jordan Howard, I still suspect Jacobs could go here to the Eagles since Howard is still a question mark, especially since his yds per carry has significantly dropped each of the last two seasons.
25th: Raiders (from Eagles): Deandre Baker (CB) (Georgia)
Raiders need an upgraded secondary and Baker gets it started
26th: Colts: Marquise Brown (WR) (Oklahoma)
Colts now have a legit WR outside of Hilton. Brown, Hilton, and Ebron will be a lethal trio.
27th: Raiders: Nasir Aderly (S) (Deleware)
Three defensive players in a very talented defensive draft. Many do not have Aderly as the top safety, but he is a monster on the field. He needs to be more consistent, but I think he is an excellent fit in the Raiders defense
28th: Chargers: Elgton Jenkins (Center) (Mississipi State)
Either Jenkins or LB Mack Wilson here, but Rivers is getting older and needs protection, so Chargers get a great interior lineman
29th: Chiefs: Byron Murphy (CB) (Washinton)
Chiefs defense was awful last season, and Murphy helps create a great secondary alongside Mathieu and Fuller
30th: Packers: AJ Brown (WR) (Ole Miss)
Packers need defensive players, but track record shows they like Rodgers to have weapons more, and now they have Adams, Fant, and Brown
31st: Rams: Deionte Thompson (S) (Alabama)
Rams need to address the safety position, and Thompson fills that need
32nd: Patriots: Jeffery Simmons (DT) (Mississippi State)
Patriots could go WR, specifically K’Neal Harry, but they need to bolster up D line since Flowers departed. Simmons tore his ACL but was a top 15 pick beforehand, so Patriots get a steal with the last pick in the first round
