Kylian Mbappé became the second youngest player to score a goal in a FIFA World Cup Final…The First?
The Brazilian living legend Edson Arantes do Nascimento, known throughout the world as Pelé.
Pelé, who is Fútbol royalty, remains the youngest player ever to score in a World Cup Final when in 1958 at the age of 17 scored two goals against Sweden.
“Pelé made football history, I am just trying to follow my own path. I am just starting out.”, Kylian Mbappé, “At the start, it might have seemed ambitious, but we believed. The 19-year-old, Kylian Mbappé got into the action with 65 minutes in and scored a stunning hit atop the box goal which made it 4-1 ending for all intents and purposes a valiant and amazing Croatia – who has absolutely nothing to be ashamed of – run to the World Cup Final.
As is stands right now Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo just need to hand over their crowns as the world’s best players to the humble teenager.
