There is a lot of talent around Tua which was apparent on Sunday. The Dolphins offense was the reason they won on Sunday. Tua has Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. While Mac had Demario Douglas the Dolphin’s defense doubled-teamed him while Mac had to only go to his reliable receiver Kendrick Bourne who got hurt. Mac doesn’t trust DeVante Parker, especially after his comments after the Raiders game. JuJu Smith-Schuster is useless the only reason he scored a touchdown was because Bourne and Parker were out of the game.
Tua Has Receivers That Mac Jones Doesn’t Have
Mike McDaniel put pieces around Tua to succeed in the Dolphins offense. Mac Jones needs the same or we will continue to see what we are seeing. Interceptions, dropped passes, and receivers can’t get open. Mac Jones got hit a lot yesterday while Tua was better protected. The offensive line of the Dolphins was missing players and they still protected Tua better than the Patriots offensive line did.
Bill Belichick Would Destroy Tua if he was a Patriot
Bill Belichick won’t pay for talent on the offensive side of the ball. He has sabotaged the offense and Mac Jones by not getting a legitimate number-one receiver. Sticking with bad blockers on the offensive line, and signing washed-up veterans while not signing young talent like Jakobi Meyers and Damien Harris.
Mac Jones will not succeed with Bill Belichick he needs a shot on another team with legitimate talent around him. A young offensive mind from the coaching tree of Kyle Shanahan. Unless the Patriots sign Jerod Mayo to be had coach next year and bring in a young offensive mind to help O’Brien who will bring in talent it’s not going to work.
If Tua had the Patriots pass catchers the results are what Mac gets. Look at Brock Purdy without Deebo Samuel for a couple of weeks and he’s throwing interceptions and losing games. Quarterbacks today need talent around them or it’s not going to work period. Belichick doesn’t get that and thinks it’s 2003.
Here is what Mac said after the game.
Not of production on offense because there isn’t any high-end talent. Put Mac on the Dolphins instead of Tua the results would be what Tua gets.
Now with Kendrick Bourne out for the season get ready for more interceptions and incompletions. Mac Jones has no chance and another wasted year on a first-round quarterback. Meanwhile, Tua, Burrow, Zac Wilson, and Purdy have talent around them. Sunday’s loss was a talent issue no doubt. Mike McDaniel owns Belichick and runs a modern offense. I’d take that any day over Belichick.
