The Boston Bruins Are A Bunch Of Babies

Bruce Cassidy is here in Boston with the Stanley Cup after winning it with the Vegas Golden Knights. The crybaby Boston Bruins players thought Bruce Cassidy was too mean for calling them out publicly and privately so they got him fired. In his first season with Vegas he wins the Stanley Cup while the baby Bruins get bounced in the first round.

Good, you get what you deserve the baby Bruins wanted a nicer coach who didn’t call them out. They got one and maybe had a great regular season but that means zero when you get bounced in the first round. Meanwhile, Cassidy wins the whole thing and now brings the Cup back here to shove it in your face. Good make the baby Bruins suffer for doing what they did.

The Stanley Cup was in Boston today, so I grabbed my 2011 gear and made like it’s 12 years ago. #nhl #StanleyCup #NHLBruins Sometimes it feels like forever ago, and sometimes it feels like yesterday. pic.twitter.com/qoIFFD15p0

For the fans that got a picture with the Stanley Cup today in Milton and wore a 2011 Stanley Cup Championship hat and brought a 2011 Stanley Cup Championship towel you are as much of a loser as the Bruins. Bruins fans should be ashamed at management for listening to the players and letting Cassidy walk. Nope, instead let’s pretend it’s 2011 again and the Cup is the Bruins. Bunch of losers.

Bruce Cassidy spoke on WEEI yesterday and responded to a question if someone could’ve saved his job.

I don’t know… they’re gonna have opinions and should, and I don’t put it on Bergy or any one player here,” Cassidy said. “That was a management decision, I feel. That’s how I looked at it. I’ve remained close with some of those players, and we’ll always have a friendship. They played hard for me and our staff in Boston, so I don’t look at it that way. I just feel like Donny [Sweeney] and Cam [Neely], they felt they needed a different voice. I think that’s what they came out and said. At the time, I disagreed, but that’s their call. It worked out great for me. So, at the end of the day, I think it was just their right to do that.”

Bruce Cassidy was at a charity event today with the Cup and spoke about how he wanted to win a championship in Boston.

“It was sweet because I’m 58 and I’ve been trying to win the Cup since I turned pro. That’s what made it the most sweet,” Cassidy said Thursday. “To do it once you get let go, everyone will tell you it’s a good feeling. But that’s further down the list.” “I would have loved to do it here,” Cassidy added. “This was my team growing up as a kid. I’ve loved the Bruins my whole life and I would have loved to have done it here, but it didn’t work out that way.”

It didn’t work out that way because the players thought he was too mean. Who cares if you brought Cassidy back that meant losing Bergeron he didn’t help you win a championship this year. If anything it made you regret not bringing back Cassidy who would’ve gotten further in the playoffs.

Boston isn’t about playoff appearances or regular season records. Nobody gives a shit about regular season records or awards if you don’t win a championship. You might as well be the Indianapolis Colts and put a banner in the TD Garden that reads “Most Regular Season Wins 2022-2023 season.” The Colts did that after the 2014 AFC Championship game.

Bruins fans should be shaking their heads I laughed when Cassidy won the Cup and laughed today. I hope Cassidy enjoys bringing the Cup to his house on Cape Cod I hope every Bruins fan realizes what a mistake the baby Bruins made.
