A line has been drawn in the sand on Power Book 2: Ghost and Tariq and Brayden are alone while the others have joined forces to take them down. On one side you have the Tejada’s, Noma and her crew, Effie, and the cops and then you just have the two friends on the run. How will this all play out and who can Tariq and Brayden turn to for help in Season 4 of Power Book 2?
We saw the return of Tommy but as he told Tariq before he pulled off, this is his fight. Will Tariq put out a call to his uncle for help? He can’t call his mom either and place her in any more danger. There was a surprise return by 2-Bit who might be his closest ally but Bit is about the money and may turn on Tariq and Brayden for the right price. What they need is someone in their corner who will stay in their corner.
Will Ghost Return In Season 4 Of Power Book 2
Brayden does not have a secret team he can call and neither does Tariq. There are no Dre’s they can call and there is no need to pull either Davis or Rashad into the fold. In Power Book 2, it’s always just been Tariq and Brayden taking on the world. While their alliance with Cane and Drew was fruitful, neither brother really cared that much for Tariq or Brayden or begin with.
The question is, did Monet see who the shooter was before she got hit? With everyone flipping on Tariq, the truth is out there somewhere as to who did it. Somehow, Monet will figure this out and then she may join Tariq and Brayden to take out Drew and Diana. However, those are still her kids then you have to take into account what will happen when Cane finds out. He understands that Monet is grimey but is she grimey enough that he would want his mother dead the same way Drew and Diana do?
They have always been the emotional ones of the family while Cane has been about the force. Another person that the pair could turn to is Obi. While he’s supposedly a loyal soldier to Noma, he was only doing so because she has holding the family hostage. It was Tariq who was able to secure the Green Cards for his family and because of that, Obi was able to call and warn Brayden that Tariq was being set up.
Pairing up with Obi makes sense but at what costs? Does Noma control the troops or does Obi, and if he does, could Obi bring people over from Nigeria? And last but not least is the doozy of them all. Is Ghost really dead? If not, then this would be the perfect time for him to show his face and save his son.
Tariq has no one in his corner and it would only be right if he and his father can find some common ground to help get him out of this mess he’s in. Firstly, where can Tariq and Brayden go? School is out of the question as everyone will go looking for them there. They can’t go to Brayden’s house because, well, they all know where he lives. What will the two friends do for money and hiding spots? Season 4 is sure to be the most intense season yet of Power Book 2.
