Mock Draft 3.0

*This mock draft does contain trades

1^st: Cardinals: Kyler Murray (QB) (Oklahoma)

I am not nearly as confident saying Murray goes #1 now as I was a couple of weeks ago. I do not agree with moving on from Rosen, but Murray does fit in Kingsbury offense better.

2^nd: 49ers: Quinnen Williams (DT) (Alabama)

Many people will say Bosa here, which would still be a great pick, but Williams is drawing a lot of attention as the best player in this draft.

3^rd: Giants (from Jets): Nick Bosa (Edge) (Ohio Stae)

Jets seem to really want out of this spot to get back their picks from last years draft when they moved up to take Darnold. Giants would most likely have to give up this years 6^th overall, this year second rounder, and next years first. Giants need a pass rusher, and they get the best one in the draft.

4^th: Raiders: Josh Allen (Edge) (Kentucky)

Raiders get the second best pass rusher in the draft and fill the pass rush hole Mack took with him when he got traded.

5^th: Buccaneers: Devin White (LB) (LSU)

If the Bucs stay at this spot and White is still on the board, I feel very confident with this pick. White is the best LB in the draft and gives the Bucs immediate impact on the defensive side of the ball.

6^th: Jets (from Giants): Ed Oliver (DT) (Houston)

There has been a lot of comparisons between Oliver and Aaron Donald. The Jets get picks from moving back and still get one of the best players in this draft.

7^th: Jaguars: Jawann Taylor (OT) (Flordia)

Jaguars need an O lineman to protect Foles and Taylor is the best OT in this draft. I wouldn’t be surprised if they take Hockenson here.

8^th: Lions: Montez Sweat (Edge) (Mississippi State)

If I were the Lions, I would take an OL or TE here, but Patricia was a defensive coordinator in New England, so I think they go defense. I would not be surprised if Sweat is not taken here due to his heart condition and ends up falling to mid to late first round.

9^th: Bills: Jonah Williams (OL) (Alabama)

The Bills seem to have found their franchise QB in last years draft so now they need to protect him. I anticipate Williams moves to guard.

10^th: Broncos: Drew Lock (QB) (Missouri)

Elway loves big arm QBs and Lock fits that perfectly. I personally believe this is a reach taking him at 10, but we all know how valuable the QB position is.

11^th: Bengals: Devin Bush (LB) (Michigan)

Some are saying Haskins here which doesn’t make a lot of sense since they already said this was Dalton’s make it or break it year. The Bengals need so much help across the board, so QB is not a priority. The QB draft class next year is very strong, so if Dalton doesn’t work out, they can take a QB then.

12^th: Packers: TJ Hockenson (TE) (Iowa)

Packers need another offensive weapon for Rodgers outside of Adams, and Hockenson finally fills the TE hole they have needed for a while.

13^th: Dolphins: Rashan Gary (Edge) (Michigan)

Dolphins need a QB but seem to be content on waiting for the right guy next year. Gary did not put up impressive numbers but has a lot of potential since he is an athletic freak

14^th: Texans (from Falcons): Andre Dillard (OT) (Washington State)

Texans trade up to grab a fantastic OT. The Texans had the one of the worst of offensive lines last season, and they need to protect Watson.

15^th: Redskins: Dwayne Haskins (QB) (Ohio State)

I believe there is a good chance the Redskins move up to take Haskins, but also would not be surprised if he does drop to 15. I think Rosen would be the best thing for the Skins, but Haskins will also give them the franchise QB they have longed for.

16^th: Panthers: Garrett Bradbury (Center) (NC State)

If Newton was able to stay healthy, the pick would be Brian Burns, but Cam has struggled with durability. Bradbury is one of the best O linemen in this draft

17^th: Giants: Daniel Jones (QB) (Duke)

The Giants finally get Eli’s replacement. I am not as high on Jones as others, but he does show potential.

18^th: Vikings: Cody Ford (OT) (Oklahoma)

Vikings invested too much money in Cousins for him to play behind a weak O line. Ford is the upgrade they need.

19^th: Titans: Christian Wilkins (DT) (Clemson)

Wilkins is one of my favorite players in the draft, and he is a steal at 19. He is smart, hardworking, and the stat sheet shows how productive he can be.

20^th: Steelers: Byron Murphy (CB) (Washington)

The Steelers need an upgrade in the secondary, and they have a choice of all three top CBs, and I think they take Murphy.

21^st: Seahawks: Brian Burns (Edge) (Flordia State)

Burns is an absolute steal at 21, and the Seahawks get a great pass rusher, especially with Frank Clark being traded to the Chiefs.

22^nd: Ravens: Marquise Brown (WR) (Oklahoma)

Ravens need a WR desperately, and Brown is a perfect fit in the Ravens explosive offense.

23^rd: Falcons (from Texans): Greedy Williams (CB) (LSU)

Falcons need an upgraded secondary and Greedy luckily drops to them. Many people think Greedy is the best CB in this draft and I cannot argue with that.

24^th: Raiders: Deandre Baker (CB) (Georgia)

Raiders need secondary help after getting their pass rusher at 4, and they grab yet another defensive starter that will have an immediate impact.

25^th: Raiders (from Eagles): Josh Jacobs (RB) (Alabama)

Raiders strike a deal with the Eagles to take Jacobs. After going two defensive players, they go offense and land the best RB in the draft.

26^th: Colts: Jeffery Simmons (DT) (Mississippi State)

The Colts could use an upgraded D line, and luckily Simmons falls to them since he tore his ACL in February.

27^th: Eagles (from Raiders): Dalton Risner (OT) (Kansas State)

Eagles have had issues with their offensive line being able to stay healthy, so Rinser is a good choice for them.

28^th: Chargers: Nasir Aderly (S) (Delaware)

Derwin James and Aderly could potentially create the best safety duo in the league. Aderly is my favorite safety in this year’s draft. He needs to be more consistent, but I believe he can be a star in the NFL.

29^th: Seahawks: Dexter Lawrence (DT) (Clemson)

Pair Lawrence with Jarran Reed and that is a fantastic D line. Reed is known more as a pass rushing DT. Lawrence at 340 lbs is a perfect compliment since he specializes in stuffing the run.

30^th: Packers: Clenin Ferrell (Edge) (Clemson)

Ferrell falls all the way to the 30^th pick and the Packers swoop him up. Ferrell needs to play more consistent to be successful in the NFL.

31^st: Rams: Johnathan Abram (S) (Mississippi State)

Rams need a safety and Abram is many people’s #1 safety. I like Aderly a little more, but Abram will still be an upgrade for the Rams defense.

32^nd: Patriots: Noah Fant (TE) (Iowa)

I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Patriots move up to take a pass rusher, but they also need to address the TE position after Gronk retired. Fant is a steal all the way at 32.
