DeVante Parker Shouldn’t Be On The Patriots

DeVante Parker isn’t a Mac Jones guy clearly which became more clear after his post-game comments yesterday. Remember when they first signed DeVante Parker the reports were that was a Matt Patricia signing. That was supposed to be the Patriot’s number one receiver but he’s far from it Parker is a solid three receiver.

DeVante Parker Is Useless

The reason Parker is on the Patriots isn’t because he can’t make a catch in crunch time it’s because he plays ball with Belichick. He didn’t say much last year when Patricia and Judge were the offensive coordinators. He also wasn’t very productive either. Maybe Belichick likes it because it looks bad on Mac and good on him.

Belichick Singed Smith-Schuster and Parker over Jakobi Meyers

It’s crazy how Belichick chose DeVante Parker and JuJu Smith-Schuster over Jakobi Meyers. Those two are losers and Belichick gave Parker a contract extension in the off-season because he plays ball with him. Parker has a loser mentality after his comments from Sunday’s game.

Probably hit my fingertips, I think. But I didn’t get a full grasp of it.”

It didn’t hit his fingertips the ball was right in his hands and he dropped it. Nice job taking ownership no wonder Miami didn’t mind the Patriots signing him. He has zero talent and has a bad attitude.

It’s just another example of Belichick only thinking about himself and his ego. He thinks why should I sign Jakobi even though he got open he didn’t talk well about the offense.

Mac Jones didn’t talk down about Parker after the game.

DP [DeVante Parker] is a great deep ball threat and we kind of agreed that we wanted that route. So, just tough play. If it goes one way, we might go down there and win. If it goes the other way, we didn’t. It’s just tough, it’s football. But at the end of the day, I have a lot of trust in the receivers and I felt like their energy this week was good they’ve been very confident that they can get open and catch the ball and they’ve shown that at times, for sure

Last year when Jakobi Meyers made that horrendous mistake in Vegas at the time he took ownership for that. Wouldn’t Belichick rather have a player like that over one that doesn’t? Not because not only does Parker keep his mouth shut he was brought in by a friend of Bill Matt Patricia.

Here is what Jakobi said last year after the Raiders game.

“I thought I saw Mac open,” Meyers said, via MassLive’s Mark Daniels. “I didn’t see Chandler Jones at the time. I just thought he was open, tried to get to him, and let him try to make a play with it, but the score was tied so I should’ve just gone down.”

See how he took ownership while Parker didn’t on Sunday. Meyers is more of a reliable receiver than Parker and Smith-Schuster combined. Bill Belichick would rather pay bad talent on offense who keeps his mouth shut than players who contribute and speak their minds.
