Before we begin, apologies are in order. Amid this thing called life, I completely spaced BSB class in week six. I hope you all still were able to pick up victories nonetheless. Therefore, in BSB Week 7, there will not be a recap of the previous week. Nevertheless, we will continue with the recommended BSB Week 7 transactions, as well as the preview of this week’s BSB rosters. So, let’s hop right into it!
Buy – Mecole Hardman, Kansas City Chiefs
On paper, Mecole Hardman may not seem like a good pick for the BSB Week 7 buy. Especially against the top five secondary of the Broncos, this seems like a bad call. Still, I’m sticking with it. With Sammy Watkins out again on a short week, the targets will be there for Hardman. Yahoo Fantasy projects Mecole will have 8.79 points, but I suspect he ends the game with a touchdown, which will have him beat projections.
The Broncos defense will focus most of its energy on Kelce and Hill. This should leave Hardman will ample opportunities. Moving forward, when Watkins returns, it will be feast or famine for Mecole. Then, he will be purely a bye-week/matchup player. Still, these types of players are vital for your playoff push. Currently, Hardman is available in 56% of leagues (per Yahoo Fantasy). So, he should be attainable.
Sell – Emmanuel Sanders, Denver Broncos
The BSB Week 7 sell hurts me to the core because it’s a player from my NFL team. Still, Emmanuel Sanders suffers from a limited offense and quarterback. The heart of the Denver offense is the running game. So far this season, Sander is the definition of feast or famine. He’s had games of 19.60, 29.80, and 15.40 points.
Conversely, Emmanuel has had games of 3, 1.90, and 1 point. Sanders does have an enticing matchup against this Chiefs on Thursday, but his production is too unpredictable. He should have decent trade value. So, I would give that a shot first. If it doesn’t pan out, selling him is the next option. You should be able to find a trading partner, though.
Bench – Daniel Jones, New York Giants
After a stellar performance in his first start, Daniel Jones has cooled off significantly. The BSB Week 7 bench is also unconventional in the sense that in a sense that Jones has a good matchup this week. Still, looking at Daniel’s last three games, he needs to prove himself. Jones is averaging two interceptions a game of the past three contests. Because of this, let’s see what he can do before leaning on him.
Final Roster Review
For BSB Week 7, final roster 1A has a significant bye in JuJu Smith-Schuster. At the same time, though, JuJu has lacked so far this season. Marquise Brown replaces him as a starter, but Brown was a late scratch last week. So, we’ll have to watch that. Final roster 1A is below:
For final roster 1B, I considered benching Mahomes in favor of Brady for the first time this season. The Denver defense has been solid, but I will roll the dice and go with him anyway. That roster is below:
That’s all for this week. Be sure to check out the NBS website for other great sports and fantasy content!
