Bill Belichick kept saying who the starting quarterback was in 2020

I know I keep repeating myself but I’m sick of Bill Belichick’s antics. Enough with messing around the quarterback position. It’s week 12 your 2-8 and won’t name  a starting quarterback even though it’s Mac Jones. The whole world knows Mac is the starter but Belichick will refuse to say it. In 2020 Cam Newton kissed Belichick’s ass all season long. What did Belichick do? Not name Jarrett Stidham the starting quarterback. He spit in Mike Reiss’s face and said “I appreciate the question but Cam is our starting quarterback.” Why won’t he do it again this time? Because Mac doesn’t kiss Belichick’s ass and it wasn’t his choice at quarterback that’s why. Below is a video of Bill talking after a loss in December to the Chargers and being asked if Cam was the quarterback still.

This further proves if you play ball with Bill he will play Ball with you. If you don’t question him and just be his puppet you’ll be fine. Kraft wants Mac to start so since it was a Kraft draft choice Bill says fine Robert I’ll put Mac out there on Wednesday’s and Sunday’s but during the week I won’t name him the starter I’ll just keep saying this quote after every question. Can a follow-up question be Bill why in 2020 you kept saying Cam was the quarterback when he was struggling after games but won’t say the same about Mac?

Bill Belichick Is Two Faced

He may throw that he doesn’t talk about previous years because the point doesn’t serve what’s best for him. But he is two-faced. Jarrett Stidham didn’t even get a shot to start because Belichick knew Cam was the better quarterback option at the time. At least he told you not these games he’s doing to Mac because he didn’t want him. Even Bill O’Brien can’t say who the starting quarterback is. 

“For me, I basically get everybody ready to play,” O’Brien answered, when asked if Jones was still the team’s starter. “At the end of the day, Bill [Belichick] will make that decision at some point and we’ll go from there.”

What exactly was the point of bringing in Bill O’Brien when Belichick went to TJMaxx for talent on offense? While drafting special teams and going defense. You should’ve just brought back Matt Patricia. During the 2020 season, Cam took all the first-team reps in practice there wasn’t a question about who the starter was at the time, and again Bill made that clear. Here was Mac’s answer today if he was starting on Sunday

Hope so. I mean, that’s the plan. I think I always work really hard for that, really put a lot of attention and detail into the week, like I talked about. A lot of that decision making is things I can’t control, but I can control my attitude and my effort like I talked about, and I’m really thankful overall to be in the NFL and be playing quarterback on Thanksgiving. It’s a great week to be grateful for a lot of things, and to play this game, the game that we love, together, I think that means a lot to me regardless of the situation.

All because Bill has some gripes about the quarterback. Get Mac as far away from Belichick and the Patriots as possible after this season.
