Bill Belichick is Still Petty About The Patriots

Bill Belichick can’t even mention the Patriots with his buddy Jim Gray on the Let’s Go Podcast. Remember when Drake Maye got drafted by New England from North Carolina? Belichick went on Pat McAfee on draft night and said Drake Maye is going to need a lot of work. He wouldn’t have drafted Drake Maye, and if he were ever forced to, he would’ve destroyed Maye as he did with Mac Jones. The reason Drake is doing well is because of his talent and the coaching. Vrabel is putting him in the best position to succeed, something Belichick wouldn’t do. He only did business with Tom Brady until Brady became more important than Belichick, then he got rid of him. We know what happened after that.

Now, Belichick is a dumpster fire in North Carolina, and the former team he won six Super Bowls with is the number two seed in the playoffs, with Vrabel as the head coach, and he can’t even say the words’ New England’ or ‘Patriots’? Pathetic. Here is what he said about the Packers game with his buddy Jim Gray.

Green Bay’s been kind of an unpredictable, up-and-down type of team,” he told Jim Gray on this week’s Let’s Go podcast on SiriusXM. “It seems like when they’re on, they’re really tough and when they’re not, they’re not.

“So, it’ll be interesting to see how things come together for Green Bay. But give Chicago credit, they’ve had a heck of a year, especially offensively. I think if Green Bay can get it going offensively and try to make Chicago play from behind that they could be in good shape, too. But going on the road in the playoffs is always tough.”

Now here’s what he said about the Patriots Chargers game.

What’s the quarterback situation with Herbert? Broken hand and all, that’s definitely been a factor,” said Belichick, via ESPN’s Mike Reiss. “They’ve had some injuries on the offensive line. If the Chargers have to play from behind, and pass block and try to protect and throw the ball 35, 40 times, I think they’re going to be in a lot of trouble. If they can play from ahead, get control of the game, make it a tight game; they certainly have the defense — and if they have enough of a running game … I think they would certainly have a chance

Why does he have to be so petty? Notice he mentions both teams when asked about the Green Bay game but when asked about the Chargers and Patriots he just mentions the Chargers and says nothing about the Patriots. Pathetic loser mentality, if you take the question of the Chargers game away because Jim Gray does mention New England in the question you wouldn’t know who Belichick is talking about. Who are the Chargers playing Bill?
