When we last met, we analyzed the forwards on Denver Summit FC’s inaugural roster. Today, we move on to analyzing the midfielders. Coming into the 2026 NWSL season, Summit FC has six midfielders on the roster. Their midfielders are:
- Devin Lynch
- Emma Regan
- Jordan Baggett
- Lindsey Heaps
- Lourdes Bosch
- Yuna McCormack

Obviously, the name that stands out is Lindsey Heaps. However, there is still much talent in the midfield, not named Lindsey Heaps. Let’s look at the entire midfield!
Devin Lynch
Fresh out of Duke, Devin Lynch is part of the prominent youth presence on the Denver Summit FC roster. Lynch spent four years at Duke University, where she had a very successful collegiate career. Over her four seasons, Devin had 81 appearances, starting in 54 of those. Over those 81 appearances, Lynch had 35 goal contributions (13 goals and 22 assists), including four game-winning goals.

Devin comes to the inaugural roster after having her most successful seasons as a Junior and Senior. Over her last two seasons, Devin Lynch played in 44 matches, starting in 40, and accounted for 30 of her 35 goal contributions (13 goals and 17 assists). Lynch helped to lead Duke to two consecutive NCAA College Cup appearances. She was one of the most productive attacking presences of the ACC midfielders. I expect she will do the same for Denver.
Emma Regan
A midfielder of the more defensive variety, Emma Regan comes to Colorado from Canada. Though born in British Columbia, Regan played four years with the Texas Longhorns. While in Austin, Emma appeared in 90 matches and scored four goals. After her collegiate career, Emma Regan returned to Canada and played with TSS FC Rovers in the Women’s Premier Soccer League, where she scored two goals.

In 2022, Regan signed with Varsity FC of League 1 British Columbia, where she would score another two goals. The following year, Emma joined Danish club HB Køge. Over 44 appearances, Regan scored three goals before moving on to AFC Toronto in 2025. Emma Regan scored an additional three goals with the Northern Super League side. Regan has loads of experience from around the world. Consequently, she will bring valuable depth and experience to the defensive midfield for the inaugural roster.
Jordan Baggett
Another Colorado native, Jordan Baggett brings even more championship experience and pedigree to the Summit FC midfield. During her four years at Stanford, Baggett made 92 appearances and scored 31 goals. In her freshman season, Joran was named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman team. Baggett started all 25 matches in her junior season. In that season, she helped Stanford win the 2017 College Cup.
As a result, Jordan was named to the College Cup All-Tournament team and the All-PAC-12 second team. On the way to those honors, Jordan scored nine goals, including six game-winners. She was also the 2018 PAC-12 Midfielder of the Year, which earned her the honor of being a MAC Hermann Trophy finalist. Since 2019, Jordan Baggett has been in the NWSL, where she won an NWSL Championship with the Washington Spirit in 2021. That championship experience will be valuable for the inaugural roster.
Lindsey Heaps
This player needs no introduction. However, we’ll reintroduce you to Lindsey Heaps anyway. If there is a US Women’s soccer player who needs no introduction, it’s Lindsey Heaps. If Christian Pulisic is seen as Captain America for USMNT, then Heaps is USWNT’s Captain Carter. Lindsey Heaps comes to Denver Summit FC with over 170 caps with USWNT. During that time, Lindsey has been part of winning the FIFA World Cup, numerous CONCACAF titles, and Olympic gold and bronze medals. In addition, Heaps has been named to the CONCACAF W Gold Cup Best XI and the Best FIFA Women’s 11.
Throughout her professional career in Europe and the NWSL, Heaps has collected over 10 major trophies, including five league titles. Lindsey Heaps brings extensive experience to the inaugural roster. The hometown boost alone is worth the signing, but Heaps will bring much more than that.
Lourdes Bosch
Lourdes Bosch was one of the first signings to the inaugural roster. Bosch split her collegiate career between UNLV and California Baptist. Across 71 appearances, Bosch scored 22 goals. In addition, Lourdes was named First-team All-Mountain West in 2021, First-team ALL-WAC in 2022, and WAC Tournament all-tournament in 2023. Unfortunately, her professional career would get off to a bumpy start.
Lourdes Bosch would go undrafted in the 2024 NWSL Draft. However, she would not be out of soccer for long. Bosch signed a two-year contract with A-League Women club Melbourne City in September 2024. With Melbourne City, Lourdes scored four goals over 22 matches. After signing with Denver, Lourdes Bosch went on loan to Monterrey of Liga MX Femenil. Over eight matches, she scored two goals, including the game-winner in her first match against Toluca.
Yuna McCormack
Last, but certainly not least, we have Yuna McCormack. Though young, Yuna has a championship pedigree in the midfield of the inaugural roster as well. McCormack spent two seasons with the Virginia Cavaliers. During her sophomore season, she would be away for about a month due to playing in the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. Yuna would help the Red, White, and Blue win Bronze in that World Cup.
McCormack would go on to help the Florida State Seminoles win the 2025 NCAA Division I women’s soccer championship. Yuna McCormack comes to Denver Summit FC after a stint with San Francisco Glens of the USL W League. McCormack is a smart, two-way midfielder who brings even more championship experience to the midfield.
If you think the competition in the midfield will be fierce, just wait until you hear about the defenders. Not coincidentally, that’s who we will cover next. Don’t miss it!
