What up Bachelor Nation?! This week The Bachelor made up for the semi-snooze fest that was last week. I want to do something different so instead of a normal recap like everyone else, I am ranking the contenders and pretenders in my eyes. This week had a lot to unpack the talent show was hilarious as these ladies went all in some more than others. I was a fan of the tennis tournament even with the wild outfits it played well and I enjoyed it. The 1-on-1 with Jen was cute she is a contender and hit it off with Joey who was into her pretty quickly. The drone show at the end of the date was a chef kiss to cap off the night. And if you thought the Maria Vs Sydney beef was over like Benzino and Eminem you are wrong on both fronts. The funny part is Madina who was the center of the beef squashed it with Maria and kept it moving. Sydney is insane PERIOD I was in tears when she said about Maria “I don’t know what she wants from me.” I don’t know how about shut up? Her performance at the talent show left me speechless. She is doing everything in her power to make Maria the mean girl tossing out buzz words like bully or mental health we all know the deal. Now, I came out the gates saying I was not a fan of “I don’t do Bras” Maria but this episode made me change my mind a bit as Sydney bullied her. Maria stood up for herself the best she could and I know I was not the only one who let out a “YES, girl” when she said, “If you like her, there’s NO way you can like me!” We saw manipulation, and gaslighting, with a dab of narcissistic behavior from ole Sydney. It was a LOT but without further ado let’s jump into the rankings my top contenders to win it all, and shoutout to Evalin who didn’t get a rose but the leap over the table at the wedding reception lives on forever.
15. Jess- Not much to say except she made it another week.
14. Madina- I am not sure how she is doing it but the “old lady” is still in the game and better hope she isn’t tied to crazy Sydney
13. Autumn- Staying under the radar and that’s just fine. Does anyone else think she needs a 1-on-1 date to move up the charts?
12. Lexi- Kissing is my talent? I mean if it works sister have at it. The other girls hated but Joey saw it differently as he said she put herself out there. I guess dude.
11. Sydney- I don’t like her but Joey and the producers see something in her…..CAN WE SEND HER HOME PLEASE?
10. Kelsey A- She is moving UP and starting to really like her a lot.
9. Allison- I can’t lie I almost forgot she was still around but unlike her sister, she keeps things chill.
8. Edwina- The original song for Joey was sweet, and she keeps it 100 all the time I just wish she stood up for Maria in public.
7. Lea- My rankings so I can do what I want. That being said I love Lea but agreeing with Sydney was a BIG red flag hope she doesn’t turn out to be fake. The tossing of the letter into the fire was so boss was it all for the show? I will be keeping an eye on that
6. Maria- But Courtney you don’t like her. Yeah, well things change she is a badass with questionable fashion choices. She is in the stupidest fight in TV history but still keeps her head high.
5. Daisy- “Do you want to touch it?” I fell out but America’s next sweetheart did nothing for me not to think she was in this to win it.
4. Katelyn- A strong woman who isn’t looking for a man to make her feel worthy I will take it and so will Joey. She is fun! And on a mission to break her family’s curse.
3. Kelsey T. – Grabbing the private lesson was how the game was played. Moves like that will get her up higher. Plus she seems really cool
2. Rachel- Love, love her she is so confident and when she gets time with Joey she wastes no time. The earring getting stuck in his sweater and her comparing Joey to her dad was a touch that Joey loved.
1. Jen- Stole the episode and leapfrogged everyone. The chemistry with Joey was live in 4K, it was a great date.
Next week we get BACK to Back episodes and they make a trip overseas. What will happen to Maria and Sydney? More importantly, who moves up or down the rankings? Think I am way off or just right?
