The Dallas Cowboys will be the second seed in the NFC playoffs. Now let me address the fact of what happened against the Detroit Lions. The NFL official made the correct call when he announced that number 70 was eligible that was the second Dan Campbell should have stopped the game and taken the penalty for delaying the game. I said this clearly in Moving The Chains and stand by my words.
So the bottom line is that the Dallas Cowboys won the game and are the second seed in the NFC as I also lone-wolfed the Arizona Cardinals beating the Philadelphia Eagles in the Moving the Chains program. Jimmy Johnson said it loudly and proudly at halftime when he said those famous words, “HOW ABOUT THEM COWBOYS!!!”
All the haters out there can sit down and shut up regarding the game’s result against the Detroit Lions. Now let’s look at what lies ahead for the Dallas Cowboys, the Washington Commanders. Dan Campbell tried for the two point conversion two more times and failed as well. He should have kicked the extra point and gone to overtime.
Dallas Cowboys Offense
Outside of the lack of a real running game thanks to Jerry and Stephen listening to the “fans” and keeping Tony Pollard along with his high franchise tag price he has done little as Jeff Barnes and I said during the off-season Tony Pollard was never a number one running back not at the University of Memphis and certainly isn’t in the NFL. Now some of that goes to the coaching and early on the calls that were consistently going up the A gap. Even since they started running outside with Pollard he’s been inefficient at best. It’s why I had Chase Brown being drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in my final mock draft. Imagine how much better this offense could have been if they drafted Brown who is one of three players to be clocked at going over 22 MPH on a play in the NFL this season.
So to defeat the Commanders on Sunday afternoon it will yet again be Dak Prescott finding Ceedee Lamb which should happen early and often since the Commanders don’t have a pass rush since they traded away Chase Young and Montez Sweat.
Lamb was magnificent against the Lions as he had 13 receptions and 227 yards along with a TD. Sorry to all you Tyreek Hill fans out there but Ceedee Lamb since week six has been the BEST WR in football. Now everyone who knows me knows there is no organization in football I despise more than Washington. In my day it was always a war between the two cities and my dislike extends to the new Commanders team just as much as when they used their former name.
So come after the Commanders early and often and punish the most hated franchise to any real Dallas Cowboys fan. Get out to a lead and then sit down the starters. Treat the Washington Commanders like the Georgia Bulldogs treated Florida State. Do not stop attacking them!!
Dallas Cowboys Defense
Hello Micah Parsons, Sunday afternoon you can rack up your sack total in one half of football. Hello Daron Bland the Commanders are using their backup QB so you should have at least one more pick-six in your stat line for the season. And for crying out loud you all need to play the same way you do at AT&T Stadium on the road. Osa Odigizuwa Dante Fowler Dorance Armstrong and the leader of the defensive line Demarcus Lawrence show the hell up like you do at home!!!
This is the Washington Commanders a team who might end up drafting second overall because they’ve sucked all year long. Play them hard and strong like this is the final game of the season. That’s right Dallas Cowboys defenders I want to see your best effort come through. I want to see DOMINATION from this Dallas Cowboys defense in a road game. Just like the way you will need to play against the San Francisco 49ers if you succeed in the earlier playoff games.
This picture is yet another example of why the NFL officials suck at their job, Micah Parsons has been held in every game since week six against the Los Angeles Chargers yet he’s now played 41 quarters of football without a single holding call?? So when you whine and cry about what happened to the Detroit Lions just sit down and shut the hell up with that noise okay?
Oh and let’s not forget the number of illegal hits Dak Prescott has taken without a single call going in his favor. As far as Dallas Cowboys fans are concerned we’ve had it with the officials for a long long time. But I don’t use that excuse as to wins and losses for the Dallas Cowboys.
My Prediction
The Dallas Cowboys need to prove to themselves that by going 5-1 in the NFC East and proving why they are a favorite in the NFL Playoffs. This game is being played in the late window simply because of the TV audience that FOX will draw. This Dallas Cowboys team needs to prove to me and everyone else in Cowboys Nation that they mean business. There’s no reason why they don’t defeat the Washington Commanders by a score of 48 to 10.
