When did Tommy come to New York to kill Tasha in Power Book 2: Ghost? In the new season of Force, it’s been 2 days since Liliana was killed and I can’t see Tommy, in the mental state he was in, hopping in the car and driving to NYC when he has unfinished business in Chicago.
So that means, what we’re seeing in the new season are the events leading up to Tommy coming to kill Tasha and meeting up with Tariq in the streets.
What this does is let us know there’s a strong possibility that Tariq and Brayden could head to Chicago to get things straight while the heat dies down in NYC after the Tejada’s and Noma tried to kill them. Maybe, Tommy will return to help his nephew.
For thosePower fans thinking that’s a no. Remember, it was Tommy who told Tariq at the cemetery that Tariq would never see him again. And yet, there Tommy was face to face with Tariq, again. Anything is possible at this point in the Power Universe.
Now, this team-up makes perfect sense now that Tommy and Diamond have taken their drug dealing to a new level with the help of his nephew and the internet. This could be run similarly to what Tariq and Brayden used while in college. Maybe Brayden shows them how to get the most out of it.
By all accounts, Tariq and Brayden will miss the war that’s going on between Tommy, Jenard, Walter Flynn, and the Serbs. So what’s going on if or when they make it to Chicago?
To be honest, those two traveling there seem to be their best logical move as neither knows anyone out of town. Going to Tommy for help sets the foundation for something bigger to happen with Power.
Will Tommy Help Tariq And Brayden In Power
Tommy wants to be a Kingpin with his eyes set on Chicago since he’s supposedly dead in NYC. But now the FBI knows that Tommy is alive so maybe he can make moves into other states now. Yes, he will obviously be on the run but that still takes us back to his appearance in Ghost. For someone on the run, he’s sure moving freely in and out of NYC.
Then you take into account the bold move by Diana at the end of last season when she shows up at Tommy’s mother’s house dressed as Monet. Tommy will have revenge on his mind once he catches wind of that news. He already has it in for Monet so him coming back to kill her is just an added bonus. But what happens when he learns the truth?
Everything is being set up for an all-out war in two cities. It’s just a matter of the blanks being filled in Both Power series. At this point, the timeline here is still a bit shaky. But when the dust settles, Tommy can still be that Kingpin in Chicago while Tariq and Brayden run things in NYC.
