Sunday – January 17th
Cleveland Browns @ Kansas City Chiefs (-10) O/U 57 – 3:05pm – CBS
The Cleveland Browns jumped out an early 28-0 lead In Pittsburgh on Sunday and never looked back. The Browns will need to repeat that performance if they want to keep up with Patrick Mahomes and high-powered Kansas City Offense. An Offense that was Tied 4th in league averaging 29.6 per game and led the NFL in total offense in 2020 (415.8 yards per game). This will be no cake walk game for the Chiefs and the KC defense. The Browns come into this game ranked third in the NFL with 148.4 rush yards per game this behind the duo of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. Also, the Browns defense can get after the quarterback ranking 6th in the league in sacks. I am hoping for good game in this instead of the blowouts we had yesterday’s games. The one concern for me is coming to Sunday the Kansas City Chiefs have not covered a spread since Week 8 vs the NY Jets going 0-7-1 ATS in their last 8 games. I think this game will be closer than experts predict seeing the browns can hold their own and even possibly win this game outright. I am going to lay the points with dog.
Bet: Browns (+10)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New Orleans Saints (-3) O/U 52 – 6:40pm – FOX
The Buccaneers got swept by the New Orleans Saint during the regular season losing to them 34-23 in week 1 and 38-3 in week9. Big question here is can Saints beat them for a third time something that has never happened in Brady’s career losing to a team 3 times in one season. Both teams come in ranked top 5 in offense and top 10 in overall defense. On paper these two teams are very similar, and both have hall of fame Quarterbacks. Even though the stats say the team going for the sweep has won more than 66% of the time since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970 per CBS. It’s very hard to beat a team 3 times in one season and I don’t think Brady wants that to happen tonight. One of my golden rules in sports betting is never bet against Tom Brady just like said last week. Give me the Bucs and the points to make a dog day in the NFL.
