The BIG3’s eleven week CBS Network televised tour brought live summer basketball to the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Saturday.
Entertaining crowds with intense games and inspiring individual performances.

The BIG3’s mixed presentation of past and present basketball royalty, coupled with entertainment fully supports both of these statements.
Kansas University Basketball head coach Bill Self attended Saturday’s BIG3 games, where several of his former Jayhawks were playing in.

After missing the opening three games due to injury, 2018 MVP Corey Maggette returned to BIG3 action in Week 4 with vengeance, scorching the Triplets for 23 points.
Cuttino Mobley and Glen “Big Baby” Davis powered the defending champions to a 25-19 halftime lead, but Corey Maggette pulled up from the top of the key and knocked in the game wining jumper while being guarded by “Iso Joe”.

Andre Emmett, who is quietly having an impressive season, dominated the first half of Saturday’s first game as 3’s Company started things on an 8-0 run and coach Michael Cooper’s squad led at the break 26 – 13.
Bivouac fought back, but in the end, 3’s Company sealed its second win of the season on a corner 3-point-shot from Dahntay Jones.
3’s Company wins 50 – 34.
Tri State and 3 Headed Monsters enjoyed great success in their first two BIG3 seasons, but have been inconsistent in 2019. Both teams entered the day needing a win to stay in playoff contention.
In what was a very physical game from start to finish, Tri State’s new addition Robert Hite was the hero of the game, hitting a 3-pointer to secure the victory.
Tri State’s Amar’e Stoudemire scored at will, displaying exactly why he’s been gathering so much interest from multiple NBA teams this season.
