The Denver Broncos had to play their game on Sunday despite all their quarterbacks on the Covid list. The Ravens and Steelers had their game pushed back until Wednesday. The NFL is trying to keep these cases down but it is almost impossible.
5 Things We Learned About Week 12:
5) Anthony Lynn should be fired immediately.
After watching the Chargers lose to the Bills, 27-17, one thing is apparent. Lynn is over his head. At the end of the game, with less than a minute remaining, the Chargers ran the ball twice inside the 5-yard line with no timeouts remaining. Justin Herbert is one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL and Lynn did not put the ball in his hands. The Chargers need to fire him immediately. Their fans deserve much better.
4) Is a running back the best player in the NFL?
Titans running back Derrick Henry had 27 carries for 178 yards and 3 touchdowns on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. Henry is averaging 4.9 yards per carry, leads the NFL with 1257 rushing yards, and has 12 touchdowns on the season. When Henry is on the top of his game, he is the most unstoppable player in the league.
3) The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are exactly where we expected.
The Tampa Bay Bucs are 7-5, their remaining schedule is against the Vikings, the Falcons twice, and the Lions. The Bucs are going to finish the season, 10-6 or 11-5. That is exactly where most experts had them at the start of the season.
2) Stop taking Las Vegas seriously.
The Raiders lost to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday 43-6. They are now 6-5. In 3 of their losses they have been blown out. They lost to the Patriots 36-20, to the Bucs, 45-20 and to the Falcons 43-6.This coaching staff and players take too many games off to be considered a serious threat.
1) Is Aaron Rodgers or Patrick Mahomes the MVP?
- Rogers has thrown for 3100 yards, 33 touchdowns, 4 interceptions and a passer rating of 117.6
- Mahomes has thrown for 3,400 yards, 30 touchdowns, 2 interceptions and a passer rating of 115.5,
Rodgers does more with less. He has my vote for MVP.
