5) This is not the same old Green Bay Packers:
The Packers went into Chicago and defeated the Bears 10-3. Green Bay had 5 sacks, 1 interception and put pressure on Mitchell Trubinsky all night long. The Packers are now 7-1 in week one matchups against the Bears since 1980. Their defense can now dominate games, Aaron Rodgers doesn’t have to be the best player on the field for all four quarters. This game was a huge statement game for the rest of the NFL. The Packers have a chance to be an elite unit on both sides of the ball.
4) Just end the season.
The Jets were leading 16-0 before giving up 17 straight points and losing to the Buffalo Bills, 17-16. The Jets defense caused 4 turnovers, had an interception return for a touchdown and a safety. Despite limiting the Bills offense most of the game, the Jets were outscored 14-0 in the fourth quarter. Adam Gase was hired by the Jets to help quarterback Sam Darnold and change the Jets offense, it didn’t work in game 1. Gase has a career coaching record of 23-26.
3) Hello Carson Wentz:
The Eagles were trailing 20-7 at halftime before defeating the Washington Redskins 32-27. Philadelphia outscored the Redskins 25-7 in the 2nd half. Carson Wentz was 28-39, passed for 313 yards and 3 touchdown passes. The Philadelphia quarterback could lead the NFC in passing yards and touchdowns this season. DeSean Jackson 31 career TD’s of 50+ yards is the second most in NFL history. Nick Foles got injured in game 1 as the Jacksonville Jaguars starting QB. He will be out for the season. The Eagles made the right move by choosing Wentz over Foles.
2) Titans dominate the Browns:
The Cleveland Browns led the Tennessee Titans 6-3 at the end of the first quarter. They were outscored 40-7 for the rest of the game. The Browns had 18 penalties and Baker Mayfield threw three interceptions. Marcus Mariota threw three touchdowns passes. Delanie Walker had two touchdown catches and Derrick Henry had a 75 yard touchdown catch and run. The Browns haven’t won a week 1 game since 2004.
1). Is this the best New England Patriots Team ever?:
The Patriots never have a “Super Bowl hangover.” There are now 5-1 in opening games after they win the championship.
Bill Belichick has said this is the most athletic defense he has ever had. In their last two games, the Patriots gave up 3 points to the LA Rams and 3 Points to the Pittsburgh Steelers. New England scored 33 points in their home opener and they get Antonio Brown in the lineup on Sunday. Brady became the 1st QB over 42 years old to throw for 300 yards. This could be the best team Belichick has ever had. The Patriots schedule over the next 8 weeks could lead them to an 8-0 record.

Bonus coverage:
The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Miami Dolphins, on the road, 59-10. There are reports out of Miami that several Dolphins players want to be trade.

Dak Prescott is now 8-1 in his last 9 regular season starts.
Will Lutz kicked a 58 yard FG to help the Saints win 30-28. If Lutz doesn’t kick that FG the entire football world would be talking about how Sean Peyton continues to blow leads as the Saints head coach.
Josh Jacobs had 113 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns for the Raiders. TJ Hockenson had 131 receiving yards and a TD. Both Rookies played like veterans.
