Qualification for the round of 16 teams is now complete! The Knockout Stage is next and it will be where rubber meets road!

Uruguay vs Portugal

Uruguay finished above Russia after beating them in the final match of Group A.

Portugal went through in second place after a draw with Iran.

 

France vs Argentina

France secured its’ spot with a draw against Denmark in Moscow.

Inspired by Lionel Messi, Argentina beat Nigeria 2-1 and made it to the round of 16 teams.

 

Brazil vs Mexico

Brazil secured a spot in the round of 16 with a 2-1 win against Serbia.

Mexico qualified as Germany lost to South Korea.

 

Belgium vs Japan

Belgium qualified after beating England 1-0.

Japan went through by virtue of their superior Fair Play record.

 

Spain vs Russia

Spain’s last-gasp draw against Morocco helped them finish on the top position of the Group B.

Russia qualified by finishing second on Group A.

 

Croatia vs Denmark

Croatia qualified and also confirmed the top spot in Group D by beating Iceland 2-1 on the final Matchday.

Denmark made it by virtue of finishing second in Group C, after a draw against France.

 

Sweden vs Switzerland

Sweden made it after securing the top spot in Group F, with a 3-0 win over Mexico.

Switzerland qualified after beating Serbia and finishing second in Group E.

 

Colombia vs England

Colombia qualified by securing the top position in Group H with a 1-0 win over Senegal.

England qualified after finishing second in Group G.
