Year 4 of the NBA 2K League is in the books. The league saw an increase in viewership and the players have an opportunity to win up to $1.5 million dollars in prize money. The defending champs are found in DC and this season they did not disappoint. Wizards District Gaming has put together another great season this year and it’s looking like the team can win back-to-back championships this year. They finished the regular season with a 22-6 record along with securing the #1 seed going into the playoffs beginning on August 27th.
Dayfri has been playing at an MVP level this year having his best season yet in the league. Alongside JustAwkward who is also having a great year and should be in the talks of DPOY. BRICH has had a great season so far since starting out the season as the 6th man and coming into the lineup and playing SG. JBM has done a great job this season as he is picking up right where he left off in his rookie season. If he is not the best point guard in the league please let me know who is. Then you have Newdini who has solidified his spot at the PF position making his presence known on both sides of the court picking up where he left off the previous season as well. The rookie Lebron has moved to the bench role the past couple of games but still has had his impact on the game by hyping up his teammates and keeping the good energy up when he makes his return back to the starting lineup he will be ready when his number is called.
Wizards DG have the #1 seed going into the playoffs that will be played in person in Dallas this year starting on the 27th. This will be the first in-person event since the 2019 league finals and should add so much more to it. Fans are looking for a Wiz v T-Wolves gaming final and both squads have been the class of the league but playoff pressure is a different beast but this team has plenty of experience. Stay tuned for more updates leading towards the playoffs! Make sure you follow the team page @WizardsDG and the team @Dayfri , @AlexLebron , @Newdini , @JustAwkward , @BRICHARDSON , @JackMascone ,and @Pcross11.
