IT’S TIME!!! The 12 week regular-season and three in-season tournaments are over, the NBA 2K Playoffs start NOW. Games started yesterday and end with the 2020 NBA 2K League Finals on Friday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. ET. The 2020 Playoffs will feature 10 teams competing for a total prize pool of $920,000. The 2020 NBA 2K League champions will receive $420,000 from that pool and earn the right to take home the 2020 NBA 2K League Championship trophy. And that trophy would look great here in the DMV.
Wizards District Gaming has made it to the playoffs in season 3 where they will be facing a very good Kings Guard Gaming team in the 1st round. In my opinion, this will be one of the best series to start the playoffs these 2 are both very good teams. They have not faced each other at all this season so I am definitely anxious to see how this series will play out. Both teams are known for how good their team defense is. The main focus I think will be for Wiz DG is to slow the Kings PG Bash and to force him to pass and make other people have to score.
As long as Wiz DG can limit turnovers, slow Bash down, get the pick and roll going early with JBM, and Dayfri to open it up for everyone else to hit their shots on the perimeter they’ll be in good shape. My prediction is that the series will be 2-1 WizDG.
