The NFL Draft is always a spin of the roulette wheel. Only 44% of players drafted in the first round have gone on to make the Pro-Bowl.

The Lions used their first two picks to get playmakers on both sides of the ball. Aidan Hutchinson has a motor like J.J. Watt. He is not as big or as strong as Watt, but he never stops attacking opposing quarterbacks and he refuses to give up on a play. Do not be surprised if Hutchinson leads all rookies in sacks this season.
Jameson Williams suffered a torn ACL in the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship game. He finished the 2021 season with 79 receptions for 1,572 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Josh Paschal finished the year with a 90.2 run defense grade (via Pro Football Focus).
I give the Lions an A- Grade.
Philadelphia Eagles:
The Eagles were supposed to be in a rebuilding mode last year. With a first-year starting quarterback and first-year coach, they made it to the playoffs. With the 13th pick in the 2022 draft, Philadelphia selected Jordan Davis, DT, Georgia.
Philadelphia acquired star receiver A.J. Brown from the Tennessee Titans for the 18th and 101st overall picks. Brown, who had been seeking a new deal, has agreed to a four-year, $100 million contract with the Eagles that includes $57 million guaranteed. Over the past 4 seasons, Brown has had 185 catches and 24 touchdowns.
With the 181st pick in the 6th round, the Eagles selected Kyron Johnson, LB, Kansas. He is undersized at 6-1, 235lbs but has elite 4.4 speed. Running back Kennedy Brooks out of Oklahoma will sign with the Eagles as a free agent. He could be one of the most underrated players in the Lincoln Riley era.
I give the Eagles an A- Grade.
New York Jets:
The New York Jets
The New Jets drafted three potential starters and three potential Pro-Bowl players in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. With the 4th pick in the draft, the Jets selected Sauce Gardner. He allowed 13 catches for 117 yards last season and did not surrender a touchdown in 33 career games.
With the No.10 pick, the Jets selected WR Garrett Wilson. Wilson had 70 receptions for 1,058 yards and 12 touchdowns last season.
New York traded up and selected Jermaine Johnson with the 26th overall pick. He could have 10 sacks this season. In the 2nd round, the Jets selected running back Bryce Hall. He had 56 touchdowns in 36 games at Iowa State.
I give the New York Jets an A Grade.
