UFC Vegas 30 event will serve as the last UFC show before the trilogy between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor.

HEAVYWEIGHT CONTENDERS (#3) CIRYL GANE AND (#5) ALEXANDER VOLKOV MEET AT UFC® APEX IN LAS VEGAS.

Ultimate Fighting Championship action is all set to go up a few notches on June 26. Ciryl Gane will be taking on former heavyweight champion Alexander Volkov in Las Vegas. The bout is expected to draw a lot of eyeballs, as part of UFC Vegas 30.

Earlier in April, UFC President Dana White drew criticism, but also praise for his decision to ban Covid and politics-based talk in the ring. That came a year after White managed to successfully pull of numerous fights, without major Covid outbreaks in Florida, before moving to an island in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.

But even before Covid, the UFC had plenty of issues to deal with, notably from Conor McGregor, who was dubbed “UFC’s ultimate problem child”.

UFC Vegas 29 Results:

The “Filipino Flash” won the Main Event.

Chan Sung Jung returned to the win column in a big way this past weekend at UFC Vegas 29, with an impressive showing that earned him a unanimous decision against Dan Ige.

“The Korean Zombie” now has won three of his past four fights dating back to June 2019, with the defeat against upcoming featherweight title challenger Brian Ortega, who will meet champion Alexander Volkanovski later this year after their season of “The Ultimate Fighter” airs. Jung said he’s willing to step in on short notice if either Ortega or Volkanovski are forced to withdraw, but a popular suggestion for his next fight is former champ Max Holloway.

So what should it be? Does “The Korean Zombie” deserve a title shot, or does he need another win – and if so, against whom?
