UFC’s Sports Broadcaster, Megan Olivi hosted on Wednesday, July 8th an on-location Streaming Live – Virtual Q&A with Kamaru Usman, Max Holloway, and Rose Namajunas.
It was 12 p.m. ET / 9 a.m. PT, but at UFC Fight Island, located at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, in the Middle East it was 8 p.m.
The New Normal does not show any mercy and even fearless combatants have to grungily accept it.
Among the usual dissatisfactions and annoyances that combat sports participants experience from being away from their loved ones and outside their comfort zones, you can feel in their voices how all of these changes in this New Normal have affected them.
Adjusting to the time difference is one issue, but meeting weight after receiving enormous food orders in your room when your internal clock is all out whack sounded like a justifiable concern, which seems as if Usman, Holloway, and Namajunas have under control.
The other noticeable sound from their voices is how impress all were of the facilities and – quote,
“How hard people work, while at the same time all wearing these weird masks!”

Finally to a man – and a woman, their final answers to the Virtual Q&A sounded pretty much along the lines of every fighter away from home:
“I’m more than ready for Fight Night. Let’s go kick some ass and go the *The Bleep* back home!”
