UFC Fight Island 5’s Main Event Fight Card to be held in the Flash Forum at UFC Fight Island In Abu Dhabi. Saturday, October 10th, 2020, will showcase a clash between Marlon Moraes against Cory Sandhagen in the bantamweight-division.
You better not blink because you will miss some spectacular face-punching action!
ESPN+ will televise the event from Yas Island, In Abu Dhabi.
Main Card – Starts 8 p.m. ET / 4 a.m. GST and The Prelims – Start 5 p.m. ET / 1 a.m. GST
Because of testing protocols, UFC’s Fight Cards change often and at times it’s very difficult to keep track, but the travel and testing is generally as follows:
Fighters and their camps will travel to, and fly out of, one of four hub cities to travel to Abu Dhabi. Those hub cities are Las Vegas, London, Sao Paulo and Moscow.
For any fighter unable to travel out of one of those cities, the UFC makes special arrangements, before taking a flight.
Fighters and their camps must submit a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours prior to departure.
Everyone is tested again upon their arrival to In Abu Dahbi, pre-fight and one final time before their return home.
UFC 253 Recap:
Israel Adesanya picked apart Paulo Costa in UFC 253’s Main Even and retained his middleweight title with a TKO win in Abu Dhabi.
Adesanya methodically worked his way through the challenger before putting on the finishing touches in Round two.
The Stylebender did exactly what he said he’d do at UFC 253 – maybe even better because he made it look effortless.
He collected his 9th TKO and remained undefeated.
"It ain't bragging, if you can back it up! 😤 That's 9 consecutive wins for Izzy.

My personal choice for Performance of the Night belonged to Juan Espino. Because of illness, Juan had been away from The Octagon for nearly two years, and he is one ethical dude.
