In the schedule release for the NFL on Thursday Robert Kraft announced Tom Brady will be honored at their home opener. The New England Patriots open the season on September 10th against the Philadelphia Eagles. Tom Brady beat the Eagles in the 2004 Super Bowl and lost to them in the 2017 Super Bowl. The seven-time Super Bowl champion won six Super Bowl titles with the Patriots then going to Tampa and winning his seventh sticking it to Belichick.
Brady will return to New England in September for a proper thank you for all he brought. He was here in 2021 as a Buccaneer beating the Patriots but said after that game he will be back to New England when it’s all set and done.
Robert Kraft has always loved Brady as a son. He probably regrets letting Belichick get his way after the 2019 season. Since then Belichick is 25-26 and made Matt Patricia his offensive coordinator because he was getting paid by another team. The night the Patriots play the Eagles Patricia will be on the sidelines as an Eagles defensive assistant. Meanwhile, Brady went to the losing Buccaneers and won the Super Bowl, and making the NFC Championship the following season. Brady destroyed Belichick on the field since his departure. Belichick has admitted he wouldn’t have won all those Super Bowls without Tom Brady.
Belichick Wouldn’t have Had The Success Without Tom Brady
The LFG Thank You Tom game will be fun and a hot ticket with the less expensive prices are over $500. There are reports that Brady might buy part ownership of the Raiders. Why not Kraft offers the same thing as a thank you? He obviously will be in the Patriots Hall Of Fame and even the Pro Football Hall Of Fame. But why not offer him part ownership stake of the team?
Big Moment For Mac Jones With Tom Brady Being There
Now you look at Mac Jones and how this Is a big moment for him. Brady will be in attendance and Mac is going to want to play his best game and win. If I was Mac I would be reaching out to Brady for advice as to how to be a better quarterback and dealing with the Belichick ego. Even advice on working with Bill O’Brien.
Robert Kraft’s announcement on Good Morning Football about Brady coming back on opening day is an exciting moment for Patriots fans.
Kraft said earlier this past year he wants him to retire as a Patriot. Will he do that in September? He probably will he won most of his titles with the Patriots. He deserves to go off as a Patriot.
