Hey there, guys! So, as I am sure you all know, unless you’ve been living under a rock; on April 8th, 2024, a space oddity that happens once every twenty years, will occur across North America, and it’s a big deal!
A solar eclipse happens when the moon passes between the Sun and the Earth. This can either partially or completely block the sun from view. I have been told that it looks like dawn or dusk, but I have never seen one in person before. Apparently, 13 states across the U.S. will see a total eclipse while the rest of us will get a partial eclipse. According to the space side of TikTok, the best views will be in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Lots of people are traveling across the country to witness this greatness, so account for that in your driving plans. As far as here in Colorado Springs, we are only going to see a partial coverage of the eclipse.
Now, let’s address the rumors about the eclipse. Is it the beginning of the end of life as we know it?
Is it the rapture?
Or is it the collapse of the simulation we call life?
Or maybe, just maybe, it’s a shadow?
The doomsday preppers are having a field day with this one. Just yesterday, I was at the grocery store, and there was a lady with 15-plus cases of bottled water in her cart. Then, today at another store, there was almost no toilet paper and an overall lack of shelf-stable products. This is a flashback of people who panicked during Covid in the beginning and it is sort of intense. I have also noticed a lot of Tik-Toks and social media posts of people Go-Bags and hauls of mass amounts of shelf-stable foods.
It’s only a shadow friends no need to panic! Just remember, if you want to view this natural phenomenon, use solar eclipse glasses, save those eyes! Just make sure you take a look outside this Monday to witness this before it is over for 2 plus decades!
Be safe friends, and until next time!
