The Free Karen Read movement is gaining momentum as people from around the world witness the alleged corruption within the Canton Police and Massachusetts State Police. It seems that being connected to law enforcement offers protection, while outsiders like Karen Read and ordinary citizens are targeted. Today, there were several Free Karen Read Standouts held across New England, with people gathering at various locations, including rotary’s, street corners, and overpasses. The movement continues to grow every day.
I attended the Taunton standout for about an hour before heading to the Dighton one. During the Dighton event, there was an announcement that William Read, Karen’s father, was on his way. By 11:50 am, both William Read and Karen herself arrived, along with her brother. I had the opportunity to speak with Karen and her father, who were very appreciative of the support.
The Karen Read movement is real
I informed Karen’s father that my manager and I at my job are very interested in the case and are closely following it. William expressed his desire for justice for his daughter. When speaking to people at the Taunton standout, many expressed doubts about the injuries being consistent with being hit by a taillight. I also mentioned to Karen’s dad that the front lawn seemed small, and one would expect to see a body when illuminating the area with headlights upon leaving the driveway. Her father hopes that this case will shed light on similar corruption cases.
There is a hearing scheduled for Friday, August 9th, but several jurors have already indicated to both the defense and the prosecution that they believe Karen is not guilty of second-degree murder, although they are divided on lesser charges. The lesser charges don’t seem justified because the injuries don’t align with someone being hit by a car.
Furthermore, the absence of ring camera footage is suspicious. Its inclusion in the trial could provide evidence of whether Karen hit him or not. In the absence of this footage, other factors indicate that she didn’t hit him, such as the gash on the back of John’s head, injuries to the arm, and a Google search conducted at 2:27AM, along with the decision to sell the house and rehome the dog. These factors suggest a cover-up was instigated when it was discovered that Karen had backed into John’s car, damaging her taillight.
Dighton police officer Nicholas Barros testified that the taillight was “cracked with a piece missing,” and there was “a dent” on the passenger side of the SUV near the taillight. The lead investigator, now on leave with the Massachusetts State Police, Michael Proctor, allegedly had inappropriate exchanges with his superiors, which I won’t share due to their offensive nature. This adds to the suspicion surrounding the case – it raises questions about whether justice is being pursued for the Boston Police officer who was killed, or if certain individuals are being shielded due to personal connections.
This movement shows no signs of slowing down, and I doubt it will proceed to a second trial. However, in the unlikely event that it does, I’m still convinced of Karen’s innocence.
The DA, judge, MSP, Canton police and Alberts, Higgins, and MCCabes are all part of a disgraceful coverup and need to be brought to justice.
