The Commonwealth Witness List for the Karen Read trial, scheduled to begin on April 1st, has been released. The list includes the McCabe family, Trooper Paul, and most of the witnesses from the first trial. Notable names on the list include Aidan Kearny, along with Bill and Nathan Read. Aidan Kearny is particularly interesting—being an independent journalist, he’s likely to make a strong impression on the stand. The independent journalists in Rhode Island will be eager to see Kearny testify, especially since he has previously been restrained from reporting during the trial. However, it’s worth noting that the independent journalist in Rhode Island does not have nearly the same following as Kearny.
The Commonwealth Witness List is out
One Person added to the list is Steve Scanlon who tipped the defense that John O’Keeffe got beaten inside 34 Fairview Road. He told David Yannetti that John’s injuries didn’t add up to someone being hit by a car. This was before the autopsy came out and now Scanlon has been silenced. Will you get her called by the Commonwealth? My guess is probably not because it looks bad for them.
Aidan Kearny got added to the witness list
It seems that many of these individuals may be concealing information, particularly regarding the incident of Karen Read hitting John O’Keeffe. Strikingly, no one witnessed or heard the accident. Furthermore, not a single person leaving the house at 1:45 AM saw a 6-foot, 220-pound man lying on the lawn, which isn’t particularly large, after Karen Read allegedly left John O’Keeffe to die.
Will we finally see any doorbell camera footage during this trial? Many believe Karen Read is guilty, so where is the video evidence showing her reversing her car and hitting John? That’s right—it has reportedly been deleted.
Michael Proctor is also on the witness list
Michael Proctor is on the witness list again, which is significant. All those text messages that some individuals have brushed aside regarding Karen Read will be brought up once more. Proctor has faced disciplinary hearings, and his job is in jeopardy. His family has issued a statement regarding harassment from online bloggers who refuse to hold the State Trooper accountable for his actions during the investigation into the death of a Boston police officer. Notably, Proctor never even visited the crime scene, which remained unattended for hours after O’Keeffe was transported by ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton.
This second trial holds the potential to uncover much of the corruption surrounding this case. Nicholas Guarino, the State Trooper who overlooked 32,000 text messages between Sandra Birchmore and Matthew Farwell, is also on the witness list. He seems to have missed the crucial detail regarding how long someone could survive in the cold, as mentioned by Jennifer McCabe at 2:27 AM. He may not be a credible witness after all.
If it wasn’t for Aidan Kearny this movement wouldn’t be possible and the state is trying to shut him up. He’s been writing and exposing fraud for years and this story blew him up. I don’t think the state trying to shut him up is going to work.
