We have made it to fantasy suites and are down to the final two women in this season of The Bachelor. Grant was feeling the heat in the Dominican Republic as he truly had to buckle down and find his person. One thing I learned from this episode is as a person who hates hates hates to be hot I won’t be visiting the DR anytime soon. Poor Grant all show was sweating his butt off. Our final 3 Juliana, Zoe, and Litia. Jesse slid in with some words of advice for Grant about the process and they seemed genuine and much needed as Grant seemed more and more stressed the further we moved along like any of us would be.
Juliana was up first and I have said it all season I love these two together it just seems easy for them. And as someone who is dating a girly girl taking her on riding ATVs had me laughing my ass off. The way she was so concerned with her looks as they blew through mud puddles, give major credit to Grant who picked up on her concerns and assured her she still looked great even covered in mud and dirt. He shared with her that the Dominican Republic is where his grandmother is from and she recently passed away. Juliana was open about how knowing other women are still in the running makes her uneasy “I start to spiral because I also know that there’s other girls here that he’s also forming connections with and the fact that it could not be me reminds me of my past relationship,”
Later that evening she let her walls down and talked about how being cheated on in the past makes it hard for her to open up. Juliana shares how her past left her a little broken and she is still fixing herself. Girl, that is all of us you have nothing to worry about on that front. I know it is a TV show but man Grant is GOOD at making you feel accepted he said “I look at you and I’m like who … somebody messed up letting you down like that,” Grant said to Juliana. “Where somebody else messed up, I see treasure.” Just drop down to one knee already and pop the question, I mean whew buddy. The Fantasy Suite card was pulled out and they spent the night together. The next morning she called her night with Grant a 12 out of 10 experience and again the two of them looked like a normal couple. The lone wolves are becoming a wolfpack.
Onto Zoe who for the life of me I can’t understand how she made it this far. Zoe told the man to his face that she didn’t know anything about him. She and Grant have had little to no time together and that hometown date will go down in Bachelor history. So, here we are, it started with her chatting with Rachel from Joey’s season who I remembered didn’t have a lot of time with Joey so good idea. The talk got her head right and ready to embrace the moment. Is picking a random activity a thing for these two? Yoga? In that heat? The two of them made the most of it and Grant man, I am right there with you when he said “First thing I was thinking was, ‘don’t fart,’ honestly,” after classes the two got to know each other better but I kept saying this is all too late for this, how can they fall in love THIS fast? Their timeline for having children matched and they both said yes to the night together in a fantasy suite.
Litia has grown on me a lot this season I will start with that. But, she will have to deal with the fact that the man she might be marrying was with two other women not too long ago. The chat with Kaity Biggar from a past season. She concluded she didn’t want to hear about the other dates. I wonder how long that rule will last. After Ziplining with Grant they dive into talking about having kids and she lets him know that at 31 her clock is ticking LOUD. That was not what Grant saw as he wanted to enjoy having a wife and life a little before having kids. When the fantasy suites card was pulled it was a no from Litia who said, “But it’s hard for me right now because there are still people here, so I just have to make choices that will help me kind of protect my feelings and my peace. And so, sex is just not like on the table for me.” I totally respect her for protecting herself and standing her ground, not letting the pressure of what the other ladies might be doing change her mind or morals. Well, hold the phone Grant says he loves Litia and that was what she needed to hear and feel to change her mind about spending the night with Grant. Bruh, that was the most uneasy “I love you” in TV history!
Now you have stepped in it Grant and can’t wipe it off what about Juliana? Aren’t you there with her as well? The rose ceremony was short and sweet it was bye-bye to Zoe who didn’t need to be there anyway Shoutout to my girl Dina who was let go after hometowns. Next week a winner is chosen or at least a winner should be chosen and the ladies also get to meet Grant’s family my gut tells me the winner is Juliana but Litia has made up a lot of ground in this race. Until next time Bachelor Nation!
