Tight End Zach Ertz of he Philadelphia Eagles is having a historic and unprecedented season for his team.
With just a handful more of games left, Ertz has chance not only to make Eagles history but to also move alongside some of NFL all time greats.
Ertz already has the third-most catches by a tight end in his first six seasons in the NFL and needs just 30 catches to have the most receptions in history by a tight end in his first six years.
He is only the 12th tight end in NFL history with five career 700-yard seasons and one of only six tight ends ever with five 700-yard seasons in a row. Currently ranking 39th in NFL history in career receptions by a tight end. But if he continues at his current pace, he’ll be ranked 12th by the end of next year.
Not bad at all for the second round pick from Stanford.
He’s definitely a bright spot on what has been a very trying 2018 campaign for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Well, there is no way to sugar coated, but a bad team’s going to win the NFC East. Or at least a team that isn’t as good as the other division champs, is probably a better way of putting it.
So in that context, the Eagles have as good a chance as anybody. At the moment the Dallas Cowboys are a slight favorite here to win the division just because they’re a game ahead and they’re playing a little bit better.
The Washington Redskins send vile, inexcusable message on domestic violence by adding Reuben Foster. I don’t care how desperate you are to make the playoffs, character matters!
The New York Giants in spite of their record will draw a line on the sand and to man will run out their locker room chanting,
“If we ain’t going to the playoffs…neither are you!”
Trust me on that one!
At the end of the day it’s very simple. If you’ve a very good quarterback and are to able control both lines scrimmage, you can beat anybody in the NFL.
