The whiteout was an all-out cinematic event for Penn State, and it ended with a win and a move to number 7 in the latest poll. Now we refocus and move on to UCLA the kids in the B1G Ten come to Beaver Stadium looking to end our hot start and hurt our playoff standings. Last Saturday was a grind type of game but the running game and defense came through in the end. What has to happen this week to get to 5-0?
Know Who You Are Playing:
UCLA is NOT very good I’m sorry, but facts are facts. They make a cross-country trip when the game kickoff is 9 am local time in L.A. They will be without their starting quarterback, and the run game is horrible. The Nittany Lions should get an early lead allow the young kids to get some playing time and rest the starters. This game should be considered a live scrimmage and warm-up for our trip to USC. Feed Kaytron Allen and Nick Singleton to run the clock down and I want to get out of this game with zero injuries. With trips to USC, and Wisconsin, and hosting the Ohio State Buckeyes the meat of the season is coming.
With a strong defensive showing and offense clicking this game will be over by halftime and the USC game planning can start I see a 38-17 Penn State win this weekend. If you couldn’t get tickets to the whiteout this game should be easier to snag a seat. And you get the best of both worlds as you get to go to the game and be back home by the 3rd quarter.
