PDF Volume II: Packers, Dolphins, and Falcons Preview and Prediction

I was 3-0 picking games in My PDF article last week:

I took the Vikings over the Packers.
I took the Dolphins over the Patriots.
I took the Saints over the Falcons.

Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers:

Time: 8:20 PM

TV: NBC

Betting line: Packers by 10 points

The Bears are coming off an impressive, 19-10 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. The Packers played a game in Minnesota but they did not show up, losing 23-7. Green Bay’s offense was nonexistent and their secondary got shredded by Justin Jefferson. The former LSU WR had 9 catches for 184 yards and 2 touchdown catches. AJ Dillon led the Packers in rushing attempts and had 5 receptions which led the team as well. Matt LaFleur is 11-1 against the Bears and Lions. The Bears are well coached and are playing with confidence, but, the Packers should win this game because they have more talent and they are at home against a young quarterback.

Packers 24… Bears 20

Miami Dolphins @ Baltimore Ravens:

Time: 1 PM

TV: CBS

Betting line: Ravens by 3.5

Both teams did enough to win last week. The Dolphins defeated the New England Patriots at home 20-7 and the Ravens beat a poor New York Jets team 24-9. Miami has tremendous speed with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Lamar Jackson threw for 3 touchdowns in a lackluster win over New York. Both teams are trying to win their division and both want to make a playoff run. I like the Dolphins’ roster and elite speed but I like the Ravens’ experience at home.

Atlanta Falcons @ Los Angeles Rams:

Time: 4 PM

TV: Fox

Betting line: Rams by 10.5

The Atlanta Falcons blew a double-digit lead in the 4th quarter before losing to the New Orleans Saints, 27-26. Cordarrelle Patterson rushed for 120 yards and rookie Drake London had 5 catches for 74 yards. The Rams got embarrassed by the Buffalo Bills, 31-10. Matthew Stafford got sacked 7 times and had 3 interceptions. The Rams looked old, slow and uninspired coming off their Super Bowl victory. Head coach, Sean McVay took the blame for LA’s loss. He said, ” I did not have the team prepared, that is on me.” When a playoff team gets blown out at home, they usually come back and dominate the following week. This is a horrible matchup for the Falcons
