The Padres introduced Xander Bogaerts on Friday as they are on their quest to their first World Championship. The Padres are ready to win not just this year but for years to come, not like the Fenway Sports Group Red Sox who just tell you that for PR purposes. The Fenway Sports Group are a bunch of frauds and should sell the baseball team and go buy the football and basketball team they want. Leave the baseball to someone that will invest in the team for real and not just sell tickets.
Xander made it clear Friday that the Padres were ready to win now.
That quote stands out because clearly, the Red Sox aren’t ready to win now no matter what they tell you. If they were ready to win now to would’ve extended Betts, Benintendi, and Bogaerts, and will soon lose Devers. I hope they do because that team is going nowhere. Devers should follow in Bogaerts footsteps and go to a team ready to win now not 10 years from now. The Padres now are what the Red Sox used to be when they were trying to beat the Yankees. Spend for talent no matter the cost. Now, the Padres are doing that to keep up with the Dodgers and win a World Series. The Red Sox are officially the minor leagues for the MLB. Get rid of the homegrown talent for prospects or average talent. Bogaerts also talked about how stacked the roster of the Padres is
The Padres Are Fun to watch
Bogaerts is excited to be a part of his Padre experience and to face the Dodgers head-to-head. He can be a good role model for Fernando Tatis too who is suspended for the first 20 games of the season. Bogaerts has two world championships and knows what it takes to win one. He even said on Friday this Padres team reminds him of the 2018 team. That team was loaded with talent, and they got the job done. I wonder what has happened since then? The Padres have built a team ready to win now. While the Red Sox hired Chaim Bloom from the Rays to turn them into a minor-league team. Nice job Fenway Sports Group.
