Following the Season 2 finale of Nobody Wants This, one thing is clear heading into Season 3: the writers better stay away from placing Sasha and Morgan into a relationship. It seems like the right thing to do, but it will ruin the dynamic of the show.
While Esther wants space from Sasha, and with Morgan ending her engagement to Dr. Andy, it appears that the chemistry between Morgan and Sasha has put them on a crash course to something romantic. But that won’t work.
Yes, there is no denying their chemistry, but it’s more on the bestie-level than a couple. Dating back to the moment they met, it was always a battle of wits between the two, and that even helped the relationship between Noah and Joanne. It’s pure comedy when they are on the screen together.
However, to play devil’s advocate here, a relationship between the two would add more comedy scenes once Esther gets wind of it. The relationship between her and Morgan is like oil and water, always intense. There is no love lost there, and for Esther to see Sasha and Morgan together would surely ruffle her feathers.
But still, it won’t work. While they are indeed different, that difference is what makes their friendship work. Nobody Wants This is centered around the ups and downs of Joanne and Noah; therefore, there is no time to explore another relationship with a devout Jew and another non-Jew. That’s entirely too much going on there.

Their mother, Bina, would surely have a heart attack if both her sons were dating non-Jewish women. That alone would be worth the price of admission to watch at Sabaitha on Fridays.
Nobody Wants This is not just built on the relationship of its two stars; the real highlight of the show is the weird but funny and much-needed triangle between Sasha, Esther, and Morgan. Without them, we may not have gotten a Season 2 of Nobody Wants This. However, there is a Hollywood rule that must be broken here.
It seems that no matter the show, either the writers or fans will always try their best to “ship” two people just because. Remember when Friends tried to “ship” Joey and Rachel? That was just awful. And with the way things ended in Season 2, it appears they may be trying the same with Morgan and Sasha.
Now, I could have this all wrong here, and the writers will have them remain friends. But I can almost guarantee they will at least attempt to have some sort of relationship. It could be a kiss just to test the waters, yet there will be something romantic between the two. Will a relationship between Sasha and Morgan work? Maybe it will for a few episodes, but in the end, it will not serve the show any good moving forward.
