Nothing says the holidays quite like a Christmas list. If every NFL team were to write a letter to Santa, what would be on their wish list? Here’s a list of what that might look like:
Dear Santa – AFC East Edition
Buffalo Bills:
Dear Santa, as much as we’d love to see Josh Allen get his MVP this season, what we’d like is a Super Bowl victory. We’d be 100% okay with a late delivery. We’ve been awfully good this year and have been waiting for it to arrive for years.
Miami Dolphins:
Dear Santa, can you please bring us an offensive line that can keep our QB1 safe? Not to sound ungrateful, but we know we already have an offensive line. We’ve played with that one for years, and it’s worn down. We’ve replaced some parts and even refurbished them a little, but we promise to take better care of the new ones.
New York Jets:
Dear Santa, please bring us a more hands-off owner with the staff. We know he wants what’s best for the organization, he’s just not the man to do it. Bring us someone who isn’t going to make decisions based on Madden ratings and tell (backup) players they “suck” in the locker room. If we make amends for our QB squabbles with the media, can you please bring us a quality decision-maker atop our organization?
New England Patriots:
Dear Santa, if we promise to be extra good until then, can you bring us some playmakers for our offense to build around? We’ve already got a quarterback with heart and a lot of promise, we’d really like more talent around him for him to succeed. We’re forever grateful for the gifts you’ve given us over the years and understand that it may take a while for these new gifts to arrive.
The AFC East has been rich with talent throughout the years. Too bad for the most part it has been spread to one team at a time. With a little help from Santa, these teams could turn things around if they get what is on their Wish List.
