ARCCA, hired by the FBI, is on the stand to determine whether the injuries to John O’Keeffe, particularly his arm, are consistent with being hit by a vehicle. Dr. Daniel Wolfe testified on Friday, challenging the Commonwealth’s expert, who had covered his right arm with paint and backed up a Lexus SUV at 2 mph to simulate a hit. There was no breaking of a taillight, no use of a crash dummy—just a lot of nonsense without any solid evidence.
Karen Read Didn’t Hit John O’Keeffe

You would think the Commonwealth would have preferred Apecture to use a crash dummy instead of blue paint. They spent $400,000, which did not yield any significant findings. In contrast, the defense paid only $50000 for ARCCA, which employed a crash dummy to test the impact on an arm at various speeds. They conducted tests at 10, 17, 24, and 29MPH mph, consistently using a crash dummy and comparing their taillight with Karen’s taillight, which was in police custody.
ARCCA Used More Science Than Apecture

When a crash dummy hit the taillight at 10 mph, there was no damage. Some damage was observed on ARCCA’s taillight at 17 mph, and at 24 mph, while there was damage to the taillight from the crash dummy, it did not shatter into 47 pieces. Additionally, ARCCA’s taillight did not resemble Karen’s taillight in police custody.
Karen’s Taillight Has More Red at 5:07 AM

On January 29, 2022, at 5:07 AM, when Karen backed out of John O’Keeffe’s driveway to search for him, she backed into his car before pulling away. The video clearly shows a missing piece of white from the taillight, but the rest is largely intact, especially on the side, at 5:07 AM, just hours before State Police seized her car. The other side seems to ignore this evidence because they just want to blame her, as it conveniently fits the narrative of an angry, drunk girl who backed into her boyfriend, a cop. However, that is clearly not what happened.

This week, you will see how John O’Keeffe’s injuries are inconsistent with being struck by a vehicle. His arm would have been broken, but instead, it only bore marks that the Commonwealth attributes to a taillight. If John O’Keeffe had not died on another cop’s lawn, I guarantee that Karen Read would already be free, and the police would have investigated the inside of the house.
Why didn’t the Commonwealth want to use a crash dummy? Because, doing so would prove Karen Read’s innocence, which would imply that someone else was responsible for his death in the house. As Matt McCabe stated in a group text before Karen’s arrest, “If she pleads out, it’ll be fine; if she fights it, it’ll be an episode.” They wanted her to take the fall instead of uncovering the truth. After this week, we may never know who killed John O’Keeffe, but it is clear that Karen Read did not.
