The Kansas City Chiefs are not worried about the next team the same way the next team is worried about them. The Baltimore Ravens are playing great ball but what and who are they chasing? A Super Bowl and the Chiefs, that’s what and who.
But the Chiefs are struggling this season. Well, that tends to happen when teams are constructed to beat you. There will be ups and downs. The same way the Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills, and Dallas Cowboys have done. The Chiefs are still the champions until someone’s knocks them off.
Despite all their struggles this season with dropped passes, sideline blowups, and defeats at the hands of good and bad teams, they are still the hunted. And through it all, they still lead their division and will make the playoffs. That’s all that matters to them.
Just get through the regular season healthy then it’s time to get to work. As most analysts like to speak about teams and that proverbial “flip the switch”, the Kansas City Chiefs are that team who can do just that.
Yes, Lamar Jackson is playing out of this world. But has not he done this before? The Miami Dolphins offense looks unstoppable, but haven’t we seen that before? You know what else we’ve seen before? The Chiefs stumble, get back up, and be the last team standing at the end. What makes this year any different?
Can The Kansas City Chiefs Win Super Bowl
Oh yeah, their receivers can’t catch and their ground game can’t seem to find any stability. However, they still have two guys named Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce and anytime those two are on the field at the same time, the Kansas City Chiefs will always have a shot.
Those two alone are the reason why nobody in the Chiefs Kingdom is panicking at the moment. Good teams win and good teams lose. It’s the nature of sports. The Chiefs are not the ones to get too high on wins and too low on losses. The regular season means something to them but not in the same regard that it does for the Ravens, Bills, or even the Dolphins. You see, those teams have something to prove, we all know who and what the Chiefs are capable of come playoff time.
The Kansas City Chiefs have been the kings of the AFC for the past 3-4 years and even with their struggles this season, who dares bet against them when the dust settles on the regular season?
