Bill Belichick has lost his locker room. Literally from the start of the off-season program. Trent Brown missed the first day of the mandatory minicamp in June, then in the same month, Jack Jones was arrested for bringing in guns to Logan Airport. Jack Jones isn’t cut at all instead he continues to practice for the Patriots and sat out a training camp practice. Sounds like he’s been a distraction since he got suspended last year.
So why did it take so long for Belichick to get rid of him? If it was in the middle of the dynasty he’d be gone by now. The reason is because there wasn’t anyone to replace him and he was on a rookie contract.
He gets acquitted of all charges and still plays in games. That wouldn’t have happened 15 years ago why? Because Brady was here and covered up everything so if a player screwed up he was gone no questions asked. Now, they need players with a bad attitude because of their lack of skilled players.
Then you get to the Washington game and the reports came out Jones was benched because he was late to the team hotel the night before. He pouted on the sidelines with a towel over his head in the first quarter.
Jack Jones Loves Drama and Posting About it on Social Media
Then he made the trip to Germany and pouted spoke out on Twitter and had a bad attitude. The Patriots get back to Foxborough then he gets cut. Why did it take so long? Because the Patriots are out of it why keep this guy who can’t stay off the Internet?

Then later on Monday, he lashed out on X saying he’s sick of the Patriots fans and bashing the media in New England. What mature football player would do that?
Every patriot reporter getting blocked they keep tryna make everything I do about the last team or make my words ill like I got some type of vendetta… them reporters lame and the fans lame too.. report about the team not me. And make it positive. Fans 👋🏽 reporters 👋🏽get off 👋🏽

Between this guy and J.C Jackson, another basket case they brought back Belichick has lost control of his room. When asked why Jack Jones was released Belichick responded with
Not only that but then you have the quarterback situation. Half the room wants Mac and the other half wants someone else. What a dysfunctional mess this is. Offensive Coordinator Bill O’Brien can’t even name Mac the starter without getting the wrath of Bill.
Trent Brown, Jack Jones, J.C. Jackson, and the quarterback drama. I didn’t even mention how bad the offense roster is between the offensive line and receivers. It’s a complete mess and a start in the right direction would be moving on from Belichick after this season.
