Although no recognizable major names Boxing fights were scheduled this past weekend, there was nevertheless plenty of great action available.
The reality is that although “The Powers That Be” in Boxing have tried for years to price out us “Sweet Science” fans, their attempts are futile because we always find ways to view good fights.
They have been successful in promoting certain fights – And Fighters Only, which makes it next to impossible for the average fans – Or The Curious, to hold their interest, but Drama And Boxing have been running together just like on any other major sports, since birth.
The Champ’s Grandson made his debut this weekend.
Although it might as well have been written in stone that he was going to be successful as far as I was concerned, Fight Nights Clubhouse was completely silent because frankly our “Fan Base” is always prepared for the worse, but is always happily surprised when good things do happen.
It's still surreal to me that more than 50 years after I began promoting The Greatest, his grandson @NicoAliX74 turns pro on our @trboxing show Saturday night. A true moment of pride for me.

Nico inherited his Grandfather’s winning smile, but those are some deep, very deep Boxing Boots to fill youngman.
Man did that make me feel OLD. Ali's grandson? The "Rumble in the Jungle," and the "Thrilla in Manilla," still so fresh in my memory bank. pic.twitter.com/DfRMob0siV

Nico may not have his Grandfather’s flair just yet, but he does have his own “Bundini Brown”, Already.
CONFIRMED: @NicoAliX74 knows what time it is, per his godfather @FlavorFlav.#FrancoMoloney3 | Main Card on ESPN – 10pm ET pic.twitter.com/6zjEGwQpDO
