Georgia State University just landed one of the top specialists in the country. Balint Vorosmarty, ranked the No. 4 kicker in America by Kohl’s Kicking for the Class of 2026, has officially committed to the Panthers. Vorosmarty announced his decision on social media, tagging Georgia State Football in the post.
After an amazing official visit and great talks with @DellMcGee, @Coach__Blount and @zconowal31, I am more than happy to announce I am 100% committed to Georgia State University!@GeorgiaStateFB@RecruitGeorgia@kt_recruiting @HKA_Tanalski @KohlsKicking @Coach_Radke

A standout at multiple national kicking showcases, Vorosmarty has been praised for his foot explosion, leg strength, and ball flight. In his Kohl’s kicking evaluation, Balint was “proving to be a D1 player” each time he was seen at their showcases. Additionally, Balint Vorosmarty was a Georgia Tech Specialist Camp Winner in 2023.
Vorosmarty was the Georgia Football Region 7 AAAAA Specialist of the Year in 2024 at Roswell High school. Statistically, he was nearly automatic. Vorosmarty went 54-for-55 on extra points and 5-for-6 on field goals. His longest make was from 48 yards out. Naturally, on a team as good as Roswell is year in and year out, kickers are only going to get limited attempts at field goals.
Georgia States Recruiting Class
With the recent commitment from Balint Vorosmarty, the Panthers now have 13 total commitments from the class of 2026. Georgia State hasn’t signed a kicker since 2023. The current roster includes two redshirt juniors at the position, so adding a top prospect like Vorosmarty ensures continuity on special teams going forward.
As of now, Georgia State’s 2026 class is ranked No. 107 nationally and No. 6 in the Sun Belt Conference.
