The 2023-24 NFL season is in its 2nd week and this means the betting apps will be going wild. Fanduel is one of the most popular and while it’s not available in all states, those who can play will be looking to see if their picks can cover the spread. But will there be any upsets in Week 2?
NFL fans have waited months for this moment and with all the money being thrown away on MLB and now College Football, it’s a sigh of relief as NFL betting makes its way back to the betting scene. Fanduel has some of the best SGPs around, coupled with some awesome bonuses, this is the season bettors are sure to break the bank. Here are the Week 2 spreads courtesy of Fanduel. Last week I went 11-5 with my picks.
Vikings vs Eagles (Eagles-7)
Will the Eagles get their offense on track against the Vikings in week 2? Will the Vikings rebound after a stunning defeat against the Bucs in Week 1? The Eagles will cover the spread here.
Packers vs Falcons (Packers-1.5)
The Packers made it look easy against the Bears last week. The Falcons are at home this week but the Packers will cover here.
Bears vs Buccaneers (Buccaneers(-3)
Baker Mayfield was solid as he does have weapons on the offensive end and the defense played great. The Bears are still waiting for that big moment from Justin Fields. It doesn’t come this week as the Bucs cover here.
Seahawks vs Lions (Lions-5.5)
The Seahawks weren’t on their A-game last week while the Lions are coming off what many considered to be an upset of the Chiefs. This week, they’re favored and will cover the spread against Seattle.
Raiders vs Bills (Raiders +8.5)
While I don’t have the Raiders pulled off the victory here against the Bills, I do believe they can keep pace with them and stop the Buffalo from covering.
Chargers vs Titans (Chargers -3)
Is this the real Titans team we should expect all season? The Chargers can score in bunches. Even on the road, we should expect the Chargers to cover here.
Ravens vs Bengals (Bengals-3.5)
This is a close one here. The Bengals didn’t resemble the kings of the AFC North last week while the Ravens looked the part. However, the Bengals will bounce back and cover here at home.
Colts vs Texans (Texans +1)
The battle of the rookie QBs this week in Houston. The Texans struggled last week while the Colts played slightly better. That Texans defense will stop the Colts from covering.
49ers vs Rams (49ers -8)
The Rams pulled one out in Week 1 but do they have it in them again when the 49ers and their well-balanced team come into town? The 49ers easily cover the spread here.
Giants vs. Cardinals (Giants -4.5)
Can the Giants redeem themselves? Will the Cardinals suffer another defeat? The G-Men are too talented to go down 0-2 in the early season. Expect them to cover here.
Will Your Team Cover The Spread On Fanduel
Jets vs. Cowboys (Cowboys -7.5)
A week ago, this would have been the matchup of the week. Now, it looks as if the Cowboys will run away with this game. The Jets don’t have enough to stop them from covering.
Commanders vs Broncos (Broncos -3.5)
Both teams didn’t look extremely sound in Week 1, so something has to give here. Sean Payton will his his team ready to rock at home. The Broncos cover here.
Dolphins vs. Patriots (Dolphins -2)
This Dolphins team with Tua is explosive. The Patriots almost pulled out the win against the Eagles. In this classic AFC East showdown, the Dolphins will cover.
Saints vs. Panthers (Saints +3)
I so badly wanted to go with the Panthers here but that offense is just not clicking yet. Even on the road, the Sainst with Derek Carr at the helm will cover the spread.
Browns vs. Steelers (Browns -1.5)
Whenever Deshaun Watson decides to kick into gear, the Browns will be a problem for the NFL with their defense. The Steelers are legit but not ready to contend with the Browns. Cleveland will cover here.
