The Dallas Cowboys players need to be cleaning out their lockers and the coaches need to be all removed from the facility. Yet again Cowboys Nation is embarrassed by the typical story for this bunch of spoiled prima donnas who wear The Star on their helmets. I deserve as much derision as does every last Cowboys fan who fell for their success.
Three straight 12-5 seasons under head coach Mike McCarthy and all three seasons end in a manner those of us who remember the 8 previous trips to the Super Bowl and the glory that came with being despised for that success is all gone now.
I just finished watching the Green Bay Packers destroy the Dallas Cowboys 48-32 and yes I am one angry man.
THE DALLAS COWBOYS MYSTIQUE IS DEAD
Go ahead and laugh your loud mouth off Stephen A Smith and Shannon Sharpe. I don’t watch your program nor will I ever watch your program. This game against the Green Bay Packers ends the mystique around the Dallas Cowboys. The men who currently wear “The Star” aren’t the men I used to love to watch. I can only imagine how embarrassed Randy White Micahel Irvin Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach are after seeing this version of the Dallas Cowboys.
These Dallas Cowboys need to be taken out to the proverbial woodshed. That starts with Head Coach Mike McCarthy and DC Dan Quinn. Both of you continue to embarrass Cowboys Nation when you don’t have either side of the team ready to play. This Dallas Cowboys roster needs to be cleaned out from the quarterback Dak Prescott on down as well. I don’t care about the NFL salary cap just as I wrote about after the embarrassing defeat against the San Francisco 49ers Dak Prescott is not the quarterback to lead the Dallas Cowboys back to being a Super Bowl contending team.
I send Prescott packing and I send him to a struggling team like the Atlanta Falcons and take the salary cap hit. I don’t want to hear about the salary cap Jerry Jones and Stephen. You’ve spoiled these players far too much and they do not deserve the extra attention/media scrutiny that comes with wearing “The Star.” The same applies to the other big names on this Dallas Cowboys roster.
I’ve said all during the last off-season that the Dallas Cowboys made a mistake giving Tony Pollard the franchise tag. Take your show elsewhere Tony Pollard. I also said that drafting Mazi Smith was a mistake and yes I understand rookies aren’t expected to be great along the defensive line or on either side of the line. But for crying out loud when you do draft a player in the first round this season make sure they can contribute.
Jerry Jones Hire Bill Belichick
Yes, I want the Dallas Cowboys to hire Bill Belichick. I’ve said how sickening it was to see the owner hire these lame-ass yes-men. Mike McCarthy joins the likes of Dave Campo and Jason Garrett. It’s time if you want another Super Bowl appearance Jerry Jones to please have a head coach that players fear. The Dallas Cowboys I grew up with lived in fear of Tom Landry and then Jimmy Johnson and to survive in this modern era of the NFL who better to lead the Dallas Cowboys than a man like Bill Belichick?
I want the “Patriot Way” to be used by the Dallas Cowboys. The Patriot Way held players accountable from Tom Brady on down. Imagine seeing Belichick teaching the Dallas Cowboys how to finish teams off, especially in the playoffs.
This would be so nice to have a man who knows how to take away what teams love to do. There’s enough talent on the Dallas Cowboys’ defense and offense except for the guys on the sideline and up in the booth.
I say get rid of Dak Prescott and use Trey Lance as the quarterback. Draft a real NFL running back here’s a hint Will McClay, the next Dallas Cowboys running back can’t be 5’6″ and be related to someone in the organization, not the second-string guy who was never going to succeed as a number one. Audric Estime and Blake Corum are both NFL-ready to play Will McClay.
My Anger Remains
I have been cheering for the Dallas Cowboys now for 55 years. I am as angry today as I’ve ever been. This old United States Marine Corps veteran wants to see these players held accountable and NO ONE does that better in the NFL than Bill Belichick has done.
Jerry Jones, you need to make the right decisions this off-season. If you truly want to win another Super Bowl. Trade Dak Prescott and start a new era for the Dallas Cowboys. Again I don’t care about the dead money hit. This franchise needs a new direction and Dak Prescott isn’t the right quarterback.
