Cobra Kai will return for its final season along with the rest of Hollywood productions though it will be delayed by the writer’s strike and the actors are also on strike.
As of July 2023, Cobra Kai season 6 is delayed. The WGA has been on strike since May 2023, which is when Cobra Kai season 6 was supposed to begin production. Now, as of July 2023, the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) is now on strike. So, even if the season’s scripts were finished, the actors would not be filming.

What Will Happen in Season 6
We have no idea if the kids end up winning the huge karate tournament will Eagle Fang or Miyago-Do karate win the tournament? How does John Creese come back into the scheme after his escape from prison? Do we see Johnny Lawrence and Carmen become parents?
Xolo Maridueña has a huge movie coming out this summer. Maridueña stars as Jaime Reyes, also known as Blue Beetle, in Blue Beetle, a new DC movie.
While Xolo Maridueña is joining the DCU, it looks like he’s definitely coming back for Cobra Kai season 6, too! Hopefully, production on Cobra Kai Season 6 will get going soon and not interfere with any of his other projects.

How do the kids from Cobra Kai become involved with the new regimes? All of these questions will remain unanswered until the writers and actors return from the strikes. Sadly the strike has no one from Ralph Macchio William Zabka or any of the kids knowing what’s in store for the final run of Cobra Kai.
The Strike
When the writers went out on strike in May it delayed the actors being told what was going to happen in Season 6 for Cobra Kai. The last word has the writers being in contact with new negotiations with the Hollywood production companies. We won’t see a new Cobra Kai episode for around 8 months after the writers’ strike comes to an end, the actors have just as many issues to get settled with as well. So we all will have to wait until 2024 until we all find out what will happen to the Cobra Kai cast of characters.
Once we finally see both strikes come to an end we will all finally see what happens to the kids.
My Hopes For Season 6
I really want to see how Tory Nichols and Sam Larusso can find a way to get along with one another. Will Sam finally grow up in her love life? How will Chozen Toguchi remain a key part of the new “Eagle Fang – Miyago-Do ” karate? Will he also find true love with Komiko?
How will Daniel Larusso continue to screw up his own life and his family’s life by being a dumb ass yet again? As I wrote often when Cobra Kai returned I stated clearly I was never a big fan of Daniel’s from the Karate Kid movie onward. I loved Cobra Kai instead of focusing on Johnny Lawrence and his becoming a real hero.
I really never liked Terry Silver and I hope we see him go to prison forever as far as I am concerned.

The last relationship I want to see succeed is the one with Demitri and Yasmine. No other couple is as funny to see together on TV for my liking. They are so opposite one another and are just hilarious to watch play off one another.

We Fans Must Endure
I support both strikes by the writers and the actors. Reason number one is the poor way most actors are treated by Hollywood producers. The way most actors live means they can’t even qualify for healthcare coverage up to 86% of actors are in that category folks. According to Fran Drescher the President of SAG-ACTRA said that this morning and I also don’t want all those folks out of work for much longer.

The way Hollywood presents itself as all milk and honey is not true for so many of these hard-working people. Yes, we fans must endure the strikes and once the writers and actors return in about 8 months after the strikes come to an end we will all get to see what so many of us want the Cobra Kai final season!!!
Just endure the strike folks. That is all that matters in how Holywood needs to protect the talent in both the writers and the on-air talent are treated matters.
